Quite a few members have given Zumbi the nickname of Zams. I'm not sure who started it but Zams seemed to like it so it suck. Something eventually led to merging his name with Rush lyrics/songs.

There's a chrome add on called hola unblocker. It works for most sites. I haven't tried to watch the metal show yet.

This show is one of the best things to come out of Canada. It's great. I'm so glad the movie was actually pretty good overall. I backed it as a Christmas gift for my dad then they released the first trailer which was horrendous which made me assume the worst of it.

I'd post a relatively long thank you note about how awesome this community is and how many great times I've had on here and that I never thought I'd ever care about an a message board at all until I found this site. Then I'd skip a few lines and attempt come up with some crazy but entertaining story about why I'm leaving. I think that's an exaggerration. The Borg never even showed up until the last episode of Season 3 ("Scorpion"). It was Species 8472 that was laying waste to the Borg in Season 3-4. From then on, Voyager had occasional encounters with the Borg, but never a full battle until the series finale, when Admiral Janeway came from the future with advanced weaponry and shield technology. IMO, Voyager went down the tubes the moment they made Jeri Ryan (and her large, beautiful breasts) the focal point of the series. I actually disagree. You'd think that would be the case but Seven was probably the best character on that stupid show aside from the Doctor. I agree with you there as well. The Doctor is the only character I actually enjoyed watching. Then seven of nine came along and was either tolerable or enjoyable compared to the rest of the cast. Unlike Harry Kim and chief angsty engineer Torres. Chakotay was also pretty badass in the first few episodes then they turned him into a very passive character.

I remember them consistently boarding and disabling borg ships like they were nothing. Every encounter with the borg, especially in later seasons is a joke. Even with species 8472 it feels like Voyager consistently had some sort of upper hand. It didn't feel like they were really being threatened beyond the first encounter or two.

I'm fairly certain tickets are being held back. Montreal only has obstructed view 1st/2nd floors, 3rd all the way at the back and 4th floor seats left. No way 5000+ seats were sold so quickly with nearly 0 promotion. Keep checking back guys, you'll find.

Borg queen is one of the big ones. One of the reasons the Borg were so threatening was that if you take one out, any other Borg can replace it without much issue. Voyager also casually disables entire fleets of bBrg ships every two or three episodes later in the series. The Borg become a complete joke.

I'm with ReRushed. DS9 starts off slow but season 3 it starts picking up speed. When the Dominion comes in it becomes absolutely spectacular. For me it's my favourite Star Trek series. Voyager starts off okay and quickly becomes abysmal. It relies heavily on technobabble unlike anything you've ever seen. The cast is bland, the actors are horrible. It does have a handful of episodes which are genuinely quite good, but you can cherry pick all 8 or so of them. The icing on the cake is that it rewrites a decent amount of canon including neutering the borg and making them completely trivial as antagonists. I'd like to pretend Voyager never happened.

Most of the episodes in the original Star Trek. Some episodes are timeless, but the majority of them are overly sexist and/or cheesy... which I suppose are funny to watch in a Nic Cage kind of way but I don't think anyone can really take those episodes seriously any more.

Imagine if they fixed the cover to make it look as originally intended. I wonder how many Rush fans would want to snap that up for sure? What was it originally supposed to look like?

I'm so glad the reactions so far are relatively positive. I can't wait to finally getting around to watching the show.

The novelty adds nothing for me. If this had been made in a year using different actors it would have bombed, critics would have laughed at it and nobody would be talking about it after the first week.

During the Time Machine tour we postponed a hockey game to have Rush play here in Montreal. If the city wanted them they'd make time.

If by realistic you mean within Ged's vocal range/singable, then here's mine. I was optimistic going into this thread, maybe they won't screw it up, but what is the reasoning behind an all female cast? I'm guessing they're going to advertise it as being a non sexist movie because they eliminated all of the male protagonist roles. Still, making a Ghostbusters movie without Bill Murray or at least someone similar is like building a house without laying some form of foundation.

It's not a thrill to me. I just want my tickets so I can have my thrill by GOING to the concert.
