  1. I agree. Very nice last tour. Time to find other live acts. It's ok to love Rush forever, i know i will.
  2. He was awesome in the second set in new orleans. I could tell he was struggling at first
  3. he sounded better last night, than he has in 15 yrs for sure. I was shocked
  4. They struggled a bit with the first set, the sound was poor. 2nd set was like a new band showed up. 2nd set was amazing!
  5. His voice was phenomenal tonight in New Orleans.
  6. Anyone know what setlist is the most probable tonight, A,B, C??
  7. Gonna see them in New Orleans. He sounds better than CA tour to me.
  8. I will say this, Geddy sounds much better than i expected
  9. Just like a football player. Shoot him up, and get him on the field.
  10. Vapor trail would be fine with me. Just not OLV. ONe of the few songs that makes me cringe.
  11. One little victory is just a horrible song. I pray they don't bring out this clunker
  12. This is the last full scale tour they will do. thats 100%. IMO, no reason for them to continue on. They've had an unbelievable run.
  13. Sorry to be such a downer, but I think it's time for them to hang it up after this tour. I've been following this band for a long time and I just feel like this is the time. I feel sorry for fans that just began to love this band the past 10 yrs or so. If they do continue on, I don't think you'll ever see them in a huge arena again with huge production. This tour, I'm taking my 12 year old son to a show. Its gonna be great to have him there with me. He's grown up with Rush pushed down his throat. As far as more shows here in USA or across the pond, I just don't see it. Geddy's voice just can't hold up anymore. Not that it can't hold up, he just struggles singing the older tunes.
  14. The weapon, Marathon, Limelight, Between the Wheels, LVS. Could go on and on, but those were the first to come to mind. The above posters are correct. He's the member of the band that put's all the emotion in the music. And don't forget the Garden. Classic Alex.
  15. After listening to this twice, there is no question that this mix is amazing. I had some of the initial thoughts of the critical views here, but on second listen, this is so refreshing to listen to. The clarity is beautiful. Like i never heard these songs. And yes, Sweet Miracle has keys in it.
  16. Im Tellling you, there are keyboards in there.
  17. Sweet Miracle, there are keyboards in there. I hear them
  18. The light shows were much better, and i actually think i enjoyed the opening band days. Gave the sound crews an opportunity to fix the sound before Rush went on stage. I always notice at Rush shows that the sound is from poor to good in the first set, then awesome in the second.
  19. The lighting on the current Rush Tour and on the Time Machine Tour blew my away. They dumped the lasers and went totally state of the art! I thought I read somewhere that Geddy and Alex went to George Lucas and hired Industrial Light And Sound to create their new lighting system. "May The Force 10 Be With You" LOL! RUSH RULES! FUKK THE HATERS! The end of the 2nd set is always cool lighting wise. First set is lacking in a big way. Just let it rip the whole show.
  20. I was watching some videos on youtube from the Roll the Bones tour, Presto, Counterparts, and TFE tours. What happened to the sick light set ups?? The lighting now is good, but no where near the level it was in the 90's. Why is that??? The stage set up for the roll the bones tour was insane.
