  1. QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Apr 27 2012, 08:50 AM) i hope not or at least if they're going to do one let it be no more than a minute long. I agree enough we get it you guys have a sense of humor. I always liked the CP opening with the 2001 space theme with the nut and bolt. Wouldn't mind seeing a more drama theme video this time about 3 mins long
  2. Could do without Limelight or Freewill .Bury Faithless deep deep in a hole
  3. QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Apr 23 2012, 11:47 AM) I got tickets for the Buffalo show but I just settled on getting section 103. I didn't feel like throwing back tickets a hundered times to get something up close. These tickets are the $66 dollar ones and they are actually good seats to. I like sitting in the lower or middle section of an arena better than the floor because you can get a better view of everything going on with lights, videos and whatever else there is. Congrats to all sec 103 ain't bad I saw Metallica from there granted there stage was in the middle but you will see everything like you said
  4. From Neil Peart "In late 2011, my drum teacher Freddie Gruber, towards the end of his long and adventurous 84 years, was reminiscing among friends and former students. Often he would shake his head and say, 'I had quite a ride. I wish I could do it all again.' That is not a feeling I have ever shared about the past -- I remain glad that I don't have to do it all again. While working on the lyrics for 'Headlong Flight,' the last song written for Clockwork Angels, I tried to summarize my character's life and adventures. My own ambivalence colored the verses, while Freddie's words inspired the chorus 'I wish that I could live it all again.'" ...
  5. QUOTE (Workaholic Man @ Apr 19 2012, 07:46 AM) QUOTE (presto123 @ Apr 19 2012, 04:20 AM) It's official. The Indy date that was originally scheduled for outdoors is now an indoors show. This gives a lot of credence that the orchestra rumor might be true. With all due respect, a change in venue is not evidence of the band employing a symphony orchestra for the Show. Commen Sense Thank You

  10. QUOTE (Tony R @ Apr 15 2012, 12:57 PM) QUOTE (snowdog212 @ Apr 15 2012, 06:54 PM) QUOTE (Tony R @ Apr 15 2012, 12:37 PM) Any Rush fan with good taste? So if anyone who is not giddy and sitting at home on pins and needles waiting for a band to release a CD some how doesn't have good taste. Brilliant! Good One I'm anxious every time Rush release a new CD in the same way I am anxious when an ageing ex-champion boxer climbs into the ring... I'm sure Rush will be fine and put out a descent CD

  12. Why would anyone be anxious about a CD release?
  13. It took them 2 yrs to put out the record. Not 2 yrs to record it. They have lives to lead Jeez the threads on this board
  14. QUOTE (Rush-O-Matic @ Apr 12 2012, 09:19 AM) I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but what is the deal around here with starting new threads? Do you get points for that, or something? The tracklist was posted in two other existing threads that related to the track length almost an hour before this thread was started. Is it necessary to clog up the forum with as many new threads as possible? It's really odd to me. When I posted the tracklist before, I wasn't sure if it had already been reported, so I spent just a few minutes checking other threads and even did a search to make sure. Am I the only one that does that? I enjoy visiting these forums and discussing all things Rush, but HOLY CRAP it takes forEVER to sort through redundant threads. The threads being started on here border on the absurd to ridiculous
  15. QUOTE (USB Connector @ Apr 11 2012, 07:02 PM)Based on what we know... 1. Caravan (Unreleased re-recorded version) 2. BU2B (Unreleased re-recorded version) 3. Clockwork Angels (Unreleased) 4. Headlong Flight (7 minutes 29-30 seconds long, Unreleased) 10. BU2B2 (Unreleased) 11. Wish Them Well (Unreleased) 12. The Garden (Unreleased) Perfect! Some of these threads are beyond assinine
  16. Stupid thread title pull what off. They are a band who makes music Just be happy they still are making any music and touring
  17. If they did the orch. I hope it would only be a few dates the rest of the tour just them.
  18. QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Jan 18 2011, 11:09 AM) QUOTE (micgtr71 @ Jan 18 2011, 08:08 AM) I forgot about how hot it was in the summer. I caught them at the NYS fair in September and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Indoor Rush is good. I haven't seen them indoors since the T4E tour in the Gahden. I was there to. It was so hot I must've sweated out ten pounds walking from the parking lot, through the fair and to the venue. It was our first time there so we didn't know if there were any shortscuts at all to get around the fair or not Like GeddyRulz i'm hoping for a Saratoga, Syracuse, Buffalo or some other date in the upstate New York area to be announced. I'm not positive it'll happen though. I dont see any NY State dates in the Summer. Only thing I could see them doing is maybe throwing Buffalo a bone and giving Buffalo the last show of the tour Since they havnt played here in years. But were they end the tour doubt if they will come across the US to do it
  19. QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Nov 29 2010, 01:06 PM) QUOTE (snowdog212 @ Nov 29 2010, 11:52 AM) QUOTE (tangy @ Nov 29 2010, 11:20 AM) QUOTE (snowdog212 @ Nov 29 2010, 10:22 AM) Once again Rush f*cks Buffalo my guess is a darien date later in the summer. Maybe early June if anything I'm hoping we get something like that. It use to be when a Rush tour annoucment was coming there was no doubt a Buffalo date would be on it. Now we've gotta beg for one. I'm not sure what's going on with the concert promoters here lately but they'll book f*ckin Dane Cook of all people to play the arena here and we can't even get Rush to come around anymore Somebody's dropping the ball around here lately because some big tours have passed us by over the last couple years. Well the disaster of a concert season DL had last yr Live Nation is not happy with the management and booker at DL They will now be telling them what shows they want DL to take and they wont be able to turn the shows down. Expect more rock and maybe metal shows this year if descent acts are touring. They might be getting away from the pop rock adolescent music. Not sure but thats a little of what I am hearing
