  1. Are the tickets still available? I'm interested
  2. Wow you stole my thunder! I traveled 4+ hours from Buffalo to get to the show, and had a good time. The boys were Excellent, vocals great, plenty of energy, having fun etc. I was in section 20 which is in the corner of the balcony. I could see the boys well, but could not see the back big screen, nor the string ensemble. I agree with you fully, where I was sitting, the crowd was super LAME! I didnt expect the balcony to stand for the whole show but I was suprised when they didnt stand for the opening song, the hits or the encores! Parts of the floor looked pretty lame too. I am telling you, you could not even get an applause out of some of these people. What fustrates me is this: Geddy, Alex, and Neil are all either 60 or about to be, yet they put on an incredibly demanding, long and quality show every other night, I really dont know how they do it. I am always in awe after leaving. To me it is almost disrespectful not to show some real appretiation for this, even if you dont love the setlist. Just watch Rush in Rio! They actually feed off the crowd energy! I personally love Signals, GUP, and PoW, and think CA is one of the top 4 or 5 albums they have ever produced, and live is even better than studio. Dont people know this is the CLOCKWORK ANGELS TOUR?! Why wouldnt someone at least listen to the songs on youtube before shelling out the big bucks? I think the Causal fan that makes up most of the audience, wants them to be like Journey, REO, Foreigner, ZZ Top and all the other bands that play the hits over and over and over. Rush is not like that as they continue to evolve and be innovative and creative. They are not doing this just to collect a check, they want to please the Die hard fans, and themselves. People want to hear the songs played on the radio, I get that, but I do NOT understand why people were so dead at SPAC for songs like Headlong Flight, or Clockwork Angels, EPIC songs! These songs should theoretically please the 70s rush lovers as there is no synth, and the songs are so hard edged. I sat most of the show out of consideration for the majority but rocked out, air drumming, tapping my feet and moving to the music. I also stood and cheered after most songs. I dont care that people sat in the balcony although I would rather have stood, but the general disintrest and unappreciative attitude was a downer, try as I did to not let it affect me. It sucks being so into a band and being forced to sit next to and around people who look like they are sitting at the waiting room waiting for a colonoscopy, or for the HIV test results to come back. On the way out I heard people bitcn that they didnt play FLY BY NIGHT! Are you kidding me? Whens the last time they played that live? Others complaining about the new material and that it sucked! Were we watching the same show? Dont know why people spend good money if they are going to be miserable. I think it could have to do with society in general though. Maybe not just Rush crowds. People dont seem to be too passionate about anything these days if it isnt stuffing their face with fast food. Sad My solution? From now on If I am going to go the closest as possible where people seem to be more into it.. I was row 4 in Buffalo
  3. Hi Everyone, I missed the presale, but I am hoping to get balcony seats at SPAC for June 25 in the general sale Monday at 10:00 , is there a good view from there? Also I have gotten MT presale tix for the last few times, can you still get good seats with the general sale, or do the best go to presale outlets? Any help would be appreciated
  4. Hello all, I just thought i'd give my thoughts on the concert in Buffalo. I went with my dad and had 4th row Alex side. This was my 4th rush show, the first was Darien Lake in 2007, second in Syracuse in 2010, Cleveland 2011 and Buffalo yesterday. I am just blown away. This show was just breathtaking! I can say I am a die-hard to whom every song is an overplayed hit lol. Neil was insane as always, Alex was soo funny and because I was so close, got to see the interaction with the crowd they have. Geddy played almost all of YYZ right in front of me! A magical experience. Highlights were Analog Kid, All of CA, specifically HF, the Garden, and The Anarchist. Manhattan Project and Red Sector A ROCKED!! Geddys voice has been mentioned earlier on this tour and I can honestly say that his voice on the Power Windows album sounded exactly the same as he did last night, Its live his voice has gone back in time 20 years! How long he held out the high notes on Headlong Flight! I wish that I could live it all agaaaaiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!! They play every concert like its their last and put their all into it. I hope the casual fans know how amazing what they saw is, 60 year olds leaping around like 20 somethings! They have not lost anything and Im so greatful to have seen them live again. The Arena was packed, but after going to the Cleveland show, that was filmed for the DVD/Bluray It was almost a Rush in Rio type atmosphere in Cleveland, so high energy. In Buffalo though much of the crowd was lame IMO. Even some of the 100 level near the stage was sitting and looked bored to death! Some even looked angry. I was thinking, are you watching what I am?!! Many even on the floor looked disinterested and confused, Im like why are you shelling out 100$ and youre not even enjoying yourself! Lame crowd where I was but great show! Thanks Guys!
  5. I was on youtube browsing through bootleg concert footage from last year and was wowed by Geddys high notes here, amazing! watch from 3:35
  6. I would love to hear Prime Mover, Lock and Key, or Middletown Dreams, I would be in heaven for any of these
  7. I just ordered 2 Rush Buffalo tix on music today, dont be discouraged.. I threw tickets back 15 times until I got what I wanted row 4! Best seats I ever had, Good luck, please post your experiences
  8. I bought tickets last year through music today but now I can't see anywhere to login on the rush page! Any thoughts?
  9. Ok Im so exited that RUSH is coming to Buffalo! My question is about finding the best seats. For the TMT in cleveland I did the Music today presale in the first minute and got pretty good seats but I still wasnt in the first floor sections in front of the stage. I am considering doing the presale again on 4/23 or waiting until the general sale on 4/28 in hopes that the presale dosent have a monopoly on all the best tix. I really want to get the absolute best possible tickets without doing the VIP thing, and any tips or suggestions, or prior experience would be really appreciated thanks!!

    Rush on Radio

Hey Guys! I was listening to the radio the other day and they played Ghost of a Chance, and I was thinking, I never heard this song on the radio before, and that it could be the deepest cut from the boys I have heard on the radio. 12. If you think Geddy's voice is failing, check out this video of Freewill at the Minnesota state fair at 4:13. Great as it ever was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRcV955WiTA
  13. I am traveling from buffalo to cleveland for the april 15 show. Cant wait!! Previous shows were July 4 2007 at Darien Lake and September 2010 at the State Fair in Syracuse.
  14. I was just listening to Middletown Dreams in the car and realized that is really time we hear this live again. There is so much emotion and power in the song, plus it just flat out rocks! I would like to see this replace Faithless, Workin them Angels, LTTA, even Presto which I love! Any thoughts? Check this out and see what you think.
