  1. The band hasn't been reliant on ticket sales for decades. They get a guarantee from the promoter. I believe Madison Square Garden was a sellout too. And several other venues. Numbers are not just up yet. If you think about it, how many bands/artists (besides country shit) can sell out venues like that year-in-year out... everywhere around the US? Of course U2, AC/DC, DMB, Springsteen, Stones, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac and the other old farts... but besides them? Not so many. New bands and teen idols come and go... only these old guys are guaranteed draws. 2010 Rush ranked nicely among the top grossing acts (per gig) http://archive.is/FDCj That's where we come in! They have one of the most loyal fan bass around and they know it! I got yer loyal fan bass RIGHT HERE! http://fugitivemind.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/fanbass.jpg Thats pretty Fanny! :laughing guy:
  2. IDK. I don't think there will be one, they just seem... done; however, I find it odd they didn't end the tour in Toronto. I would think they would have a huge grand finale in their hometown. Absolutlely!
  3. Words to live by Neil! You owe it to yourself! Besides its not like you can sing and play keyboards like Phil.
  4. I do! I did! I came back here and mentioned it, but it didn't get much of a response, but I thought the exit...stage left video was a very strong message. And whoever put it together, or even thought of it, is very imaginative and creative. It was done very well, and it is very poignant.

  8. That's true, they really did go all out for the fans this tour in terms of what the fans wanted to hear rather than what they wanted to play. Just to be able to watch a live show on the Internet via Periscope is amazing to me. Agreed. How cool is it that we've seen most of every show this tour? It's been amazing. The camaraderie developed during those shows has been a great, organic development as well. Just in time for possibly there best Tour ever! It hard to believe it can all come to an end in LA. Enjoy that show Los Angelinos!
  9. Absolutely! This tour was ripe with it! Most of the Epics, Return of the lasers, Lakeside Park...LOSING IT with BEN MINK ( That was a personal one just for me)!
  10. I saw them in Vegas during the Time Machine Tour. It was amazing. It should be a really fun evening. They really enjoy playing there! :codger:
  11. I think is sounds ok live. However, I think there are much better unplayed songs on that Album. Specifically, Vapor Trail, Freeze and the new version of Ceiling Unlimited. Just to mention a few. Personally OLV is so way above this song I find it difficult to replace one with the other. Now Secret Touch, there's a replacement. :finbar: .
  12. The emperor Peart has declared: http://pop-break.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/TINH_logo_dl.jpg Just like I was wrong about them touring with an Orchestra and Just like I was wrong about them playing Losing It live. I can go on and on but I'll just leave you with this:
  13. Oh You're just suffering from PRICS! (Post RUSH in Concert Syndrome) . This is the only thing that helps!
  14. How dare you have hope. Mr. Bard will be along soon to set you straight. Mr. Bard can kiss my !
  15. Why would you say that? The Exit Stage Left Tour was one of their best Tours ever. Believe me they didn't lose any money there and they Wouldn't here. All of the UK, Europe and South America are just dying to see this Tour. This R40 Tour couldn't lose $$$ if it tried. :codger: I guess not but I figure they would think putting out a DVD would remove the incentive for some to see the show if they can just buy the DVD. But given this tour's level of amazing, it may not have any effect Periscope, YouTube, bootlegs, etc. My point Exactly, All these things just reinforce the desire to go see them live. Nothing Captures the thrill and magic that these guys have live. Specially this tour! This ( :finbar: ) is there best Tour Ever. It has it all! Including Losing It from time to time! :notworthy:

  17. This is such a great Tour. I think its the Tour most RUSH fans have been waiting for. I believe it deserves a second leg. I think it will happen but not in the usual way. I think they will take the rest of the Winter off. Release the live DVD/CD around the holidays then Announce the 2nd leg of the Tour in support of the live album. Then start touring again in April of 2016. I think RUSH fans everywhere deserve to see this tour. Anyway those are my thoughts on it. What do you guys think about it? :rush: :rush: :rush: :Alex: :Neil: :geddy:
  18. So many on this tour! I guess hearing Losing it live would be first. Opening Night through Periscope - two . Jacobs Ladder Live in Tampa and the return of Lasers - three. I guess great things come in three! :Alex: :Neil: :geddy:
  19. Excellent as Always! Slinky the Ferret! That's just insane! Love the pics as well. That one of Ged ready the YBG is just awesome. Well done boys! I hope you guys can Nail down that Interview with Ben Minks I heard about. ;)
I had to look up some of he words! Hey man. I told you I've got some latino in me. His name is Jose A (male) English friend of mine has joked about using the following pick-up line: Do you have any English in you? Do you want some? I knew that one was coming.

  22. Muy Bien Senor! Tell me where can I get my Hands on some "La Villa SanGriato"!
  23. Clockwork Angels, One Little Victory and Distant Early Warning! I think all three of those keep the first 1/2 of the show pretty strong.
  24. They really gave a gift to the fans in Toronto with Ben Mink playing Losing IT. Do you think they'll have a repeat performance for LA or do you think they'll dig out something New for LA. What are you thoughts? I think they'll fly Ben Mink to LA for a repeat performance of Losing It. I'm also hope they surprises us with another unplayed gem. Say "Cut to the Chase" or "Fly by Night" or maybe even "Different Strings"?
