  1. Dreamline and TS.. but since they are doing MP in full I guess they have to
  2. Not sure if this counts since it is technically a Max Webster song but since it has all 3 members of Rush I'll post it. At 1:47 in Battle Scar when Geddy sings "greased wheel" his voice is perfect.
  3. QUOTE (Kenneth @ May 24 2010, 09:16 AM)Geddy's vocals in the main monkey buisness The fast bass line in subdivisions before "SUBDIVISIONS: in the high school halls" umm..
  4. So, I just finished watching Valentine's Day as the result of being home and bored.. I've got to say I was surprised by how good it was. Anybody else seen it?
  5. QUOTE (Xanadu93 @ May 20 2010, 07:23 PM) I think I just realized what an amazing song "The Spirit of Radio" is. Not my favorite Rush song, but it's definitely just moved up there. It's almost as good as "Spirit Radio" which is a Rush tune that a band from my school played tonight.. gotta say, the two are very similar.
  6. QUOTE (KennethRush @ May 19 2010, 02:44 PM) The way Geddy sings during the verses of Faithless: Everything during those parts is awesome. "And all the preaching voices - Empty vessels ring so loud As they move among the crowd Fools and thieves are well disguised In the temple and market place" "And all the shouting voices Try to throw me off my course Some by sermon, some by force Fools and thieves are dangerous In the temple and market place" I was thinking of that today, I love it
  7. Tarkus and I are in chat.. I think he is afk though.. somebody join us please?
  8. I had fun getting to know everybody last night. Looking forward to more chats in teh near future
  9. I'm definitely checking out the setlist long before they make it to my little corner of Canada. I have to agree with the people who say, who cares if they play 5 or 6 songs off S&A? It's a great album and any Rush is welcome.
  10. I'll be idling in chat if anybody wants to join me.
  11. Dear ______ You decide to treat me like sh*t for months on end, tell me you want nothing to do with me and come crawling back 4 months later trying to act like it was me who screwed up? Nice try, but it's not going to happen. TJ
  12. Ah, sorry KR , and yeah Alex, I got like 1100 Taylor Swift plays in a week.
  13. Just looked at my last.fm page and this is what I saw.. http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/8227/2112plays.png what a fitting song for the playcount.
  14. QUOTE (friendlyvoice @ May 13 2010, 01:30 PM) QUOTE (Todem @ May 13 2010, 02:47 PM) Sorry but one has been left out...and needs to be ranked as well. Hemispheres 2112 Xanadu Jacobs Ladder Natural Science La Villa Strangiato Cygnus X-1 By Tor & the Snow Dog The Camera Eye The Necromancer The Fountain of Lamneth Good call...I agree that should be considered an epic. To me, if it's longer than 6 or 7 minutes, that should qualify. So Jacob's Ladder goes in at #3 2112 Xanadu Jacob's Ladder By-Tor & the Snow Dog The Camera Eye Natural Science Cygnus X-1 La Villa Strangiato Hemispheres The Necromancer Fountain of Lamneth Look at the thread title.. "10 Longest" that means 10.. and the longest..

  16. I used to listen to Nickelback.. until I turned 10...
  17. QUOTE (GeddyLeefan2112 @ May 5 2010, 02:08 PM) The Analog Kid: "You move me, you move me...." "And when I leave I don't know what I'm hoping to find, and when I leave I don't know what I'm leaving behind." Subdivisions: "Drawn like moths we drift into the city. The timeless old attraction, cruising for the action. Lit up like a firefly just to feel the living night." Leave That Thing Alone: Anything to do with Geddy's bass. Natural Science: "Wheels within wheels in a spiral array...." Grand Designs: The end of the song with all of Geddy's "ooooohs". You know what I'm talking about. That is amazing. Red Sector A: "I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed..." Cygnus X-1: I really like everything before Geddy starts singing....well I mean I like everything after Geddy starts singing too, but I dunno the intro to that song... I just love it. The Pass: "Somewhat set a bad example, made surrender seem alright. The act of a noble warrior who lost the will to fight" Presto: "What a fool I used to be!" I could go on and on.
  18. I'm down for #6, any takers? I'd really like them to be my first concert if it makes a difference.
