  1. What a moron. I doubt he's given anything a listen besides Tom Sawyer to even judge. What is it about Tom Sawyer that he likes that somehow doesn't apply to the rest of the catalog?
  2. If I had to pick a number one, it would be Prime Mover.
  3. Interesting, just checked for curiosity purposes and now only the 300-level seats are available. On the seating chart 114 and 120 are greyed out, which I assumed meant that no tickets would be on sale for those sections.

QUOTE (ghostworks @ Apr 11 2011, 02:33 PM) ^ seriously Neurotica is largely crap, but there's a whole dumpster-full of worse garbage in the Rush catalog Neurotica > Rivendell/Tai Shan/Superconductor/The Big Wheel/Heresy/Everyday Glory/The Speed Of Love/THe Color OF Right/Dog Years/How It Is/The Larger Bowl/Faithless I can understand that list for the most part, but that one...
  5. Being from Illinois yourself, have you tried Craigslist yet? There are probably many people trying to sell them last minute, just make sure it's not a scam and that you're not paying too much. The only reason I say that is you're more likely to find a non-fan selling their tickets there than you are a fan selling tickets here. All in all, I wish you the best of luck with your ticket search. EDIT: Just checked Ticketmaster and had 2 seats come up in section 311. Maybe they're being released last-minute, but as of right now, they're there.

I love it, even though I know that you guys just don't get it.
  7. Seriously, what is wrong with wearing the t-shirt of the band you're going to see? I've never heard about that being something uncool until I read this thread.
  8. Yeah, I don't quite know how'd they release it realistically. Besides, all I need is Roll the Bones-today as far as vinyl goes. Test for Echo finally getting a vinyl release would be nice.
  9. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Apr 1 2011, 11:58 AM) QUOTE (Nate2112 @ Apr 1 2011, 11:30 AM) tick, 1-0-0-1-0-01, Jack Aubrey, and treeduck are in it!! And me! I'm the first one mentioned, although it gets pronounced "Jeddy Rulz." You mean that's not how it's pronounced?
  10. QUOTE (Good, bad, andrush @ Mar 15 2011, 10:31 PM) QUOTE (kookaluka @ Mar 15 2011, 09:44 PM) Anybody home? ......... Nope, but I'm still doing mone, like I promised We get it, you made a list too. I'm sure Deckiller will post when he has the time. He's nearly finished with it, so I doubt he's forgotten or has suddenly become too lazy to do it. Though with all the crap he gets for not posting 10 a day, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't bother with it anymore.
  11. Studio Albums A Farewell To Kings: 4 Hemispheres: 9 Permanent Waves: 19 Moving Pictures: 19 Signals: 22 Grace Under Pressure: 12 Live Albums Different Stages: 3 Hurt AFTK Heal GUP
  12. Aside of them still playing Red Lenses, the HYF tour was near perfection.
  13. QUOTE (Deckiller @ Jan 24 2011, 11:59 PM) Hey folks. Should I be happy or sad that not many are commenting on the recent 10 or so? I'll have more soon. Certainly not sad, I enjoy every single post of yours, I'm just happy reading it rather than engaging in it
  14. QUOTE (slappa_da_bass @ Jan 23 2011, 10:15 PM) QUOTE (Deckiller @ Jan 23 2011, 10:03 PM) QUOTE (slappa_da_bass @ Jan 21 2011, 01:29 PM) You're doing better than Deckiller lol Correction: "I agree with your list more than Deckiller's" :-P I don't sacrifice ranking to avoid seeming unbiased. For instance, I definitely would rather listen to most of Power Windows before most of Vapor Trails, and my list reflects that. Correct correction: I find GBR's details behind his ranking more coherent than yours most of the time... Are you done attacking Deckiller or what?
  15. QUOTE (The Owl @ Jan 22 2011, 03:10 PM) I will comment however, maybe it's because you say you play keyboards, but I am seeing a bias towards the synth era.... nothing wrong with that if it's what you enjoy the most, but I looked at a post where how many songs are left from each album and statistically most of the synth era is going to wind up in your top 50..... He's not supposed to be a neutral third-party reviewer, what are you getting at exactly? How on Earth can you avoid being biased in a list of your own favorite songs? It's not as if he went "I've only listened to 30 seconds of this song and I don't hear any synths, so it's going last!"
  16. Available Light is in my top 5 Rush songs, sheesh people!
  17. All The World's a Stage Archives (which contains "Rush," "Caress of Steel," and "Fly By Night") Exit...Stage Left Grace Under Pressure Hold Your Fire Moving Pictures Power Windows Presto Signals
  18. QUOTE (Good, bad, andrush @ Dec 25 2010, 02:08 PM) That keyboard solo sounds incredibly outdated though; it sounds like something that would be playing in an educational 80's video about science. By that standard, "Tom Sawyer" and "Xanadu" should be next
  19. QUOTE (Good @ bad,andrush,Dec 22 2010, 10:07 AM)134.THE BIG WHEEL ...aaaaand I'm out.
  20. So you hate any song that repeats a word in the chorus? Up next: Show Don't Tell The Body Electric Stick it Out Half the World
  21. Not to join the crowd, but while you're intentions are only the best, I think Deckiller's concept should be left to Deckiller--at least in its current form. It's probable that he may never return and his list will go unknown, but it was fun to wait simply because the task had never been done before. With your list, while just as thorough and guaranteed to go until the end, I don't feel as much anticipation in waiting for each new post and it seems others share that feeling. As someone mentioned earlier, maybe just compile the entire list and either post it or link to it? Or maybe try a new spin on it (video or audio podcast?).
