  2. QUOTE (KTMMan @ Apr 13 2010, 10:05 PM) "THESE VIP SEATS SHOULD NOT BE PURCHASED LIVE NATION/TICKET BSTRD HAVE BECOME SCALPERS AFTER 16 ROWS REG PRICE-LETS ALL SAY NO TO VIP & SIT THERE WHEN THEY ARE EMPTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Totally agree! If the bastards haven't gotten enough Wall Street Perks and bail out $$$$$ already , they are looking to rape somewhere else. Wall Street is nothing but crooks. Bunch of ball washing bastards.
  3. QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 15 2010, 03:11 PM) Ryan Seacrest should be beat with a baseball bat full of rusty nails. Why stop there? Beat the whole cast to a pulp.
  4. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Apr 15 2010, 02:59 PM) QUOTE (MULTIPLIED REACTION @ Apr 15 2010, 12:55 PM) Darrell, dude, no need to sugarcoat it - tell us how you REALLY feel. Ok, the show is the biggest piece of sh*t ever! I hear there is some dork with a radio show. Maybe i should give that a listen and see if that is better.
  5. QUOTE (Midway Hawker @ Apr 15 2010, 12:40 PM) He was jealous when Liz Taylor announced she's getting married for the 9th time. He said that bitch is breaking my record. Heck, they are the same age, they should just marry each other and put an end to the madness. Heard reports this morning that Larry was bangin' her sister, and that she was bangin' the son's little league coach. Lovely. What Larry calls bangin', the rest of us call dry humping.
  6. I guess the little blue pill stopped working.
  7. Box office sucks. They hand out wristbands now, so you could be first or dead last.
  8. QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Apr 12 2010, 04:32 PM) QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Apr 12 2010, 04:25 PM) QUOTE (-D-RocK- @ Apr 12 2010, 04:21 PM) All of you quit your pissing and moaning now. I have to fly across a country, get a decent hotel for 3 or 4 nights, pay for my meals, buy merch, buy drinks, do other fun stuff and probably rent a car. Total cost for guys like me in living in the hinterlands? A cool grand or more. Is it worth it? F\/CK YA! Not everyone has or can find a grand to spend on a show, though. It's awesome if you can..! Some people can fly to Paris from the States just to go to dinner and an evening show as well...but that's not me either. just for the record, if had money to blow, i wouldn't be flying to paris. me neither.
  9. Check out this ridiculous auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Tickets-Rush-10-2-Cr...8#ht_3073wt_941
  10. QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 12 2010, 09:34 AM) I will say this, Kiss Tickets were cheaper than this Look who you're talking about!
  11. QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 9 2010, 07:07 PM) QUOTE (ADesignForRush @ Apr 9 2010, 07:04 PM) I'm also HOPING to go to the Uncasville date, but I have to see on that one. You need to go . The characters that will be there is worth the price alone I resemble that remark.

They can't afford us Not if they are playing state fairs.

  14. QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 9 2010, 04:11 PM) Working Man will be the last song of the night . If i am wrong i owe you a beer I'll remember that.
  15. QUOTE (laxnation @ Apr 9 2010, 02:28 PM) QUOTE (rushfan4life @ Apr 8 2010, 11:14 PM) So as thrilled as I am about the tour, I cant stand the fact they keep playing Jones Beach in NY. Theres too many elements that can lead to a crappy sound night. Thats why Im really hoping they add an indoor date in the NY area, whether it be MSG or Radio City. Last time they hit radio city was for the R30 tour, so maybe they go there this time? Theres 10 days between the 3rd and 14th of September where there are no shows, so Im thinking maybe one could be added then like during the S&A tour? Anyone have any ideas? Actually, the last time they played at Radio City, the sound was probably the worst I have ever heard and I have been to over 200 concerts in the 20 years. MSG is maybe the most over-rated venue on the planet! I agree. People think just because it's in NYC, it's entitled to be called a mecca.
  16. QUOTE (Supersyl @ Apr 8 2010, 11:31 PM) No chance on MSG as I think it will be closed for the next 3 summers for renovations. Why not! Both the pro sports teams that play there stink. Rush would actually be worth going to see.
  17. QUOTE (ADesignForRush @ Apr 8 2010, 02:45 PM) Dunno about you guys, but I'm going over to them... They have been warned.
  18. QUOTE (g under p @ Apr 8 2010, 02:36 PM) I'm so excited for this tour in the The Camera Eye is my second favorite Rush song from probably my 3rd favorite album. I can't wait to hear TCE and I'll hear it in Florida and VA and couple other places that I can squeeze in. I have to add to the 40+ shows I've now seen over the years. Are you going to the Boston show? If so, a bunch of us on here are having a pre-show gathering.
  19. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 8 2010, 02:00 PM) I think a lot of well-respected bands go the state fair route these days as long as the accommodations are acceptable. I read over on CP that Justin Bieber and some other really-crappy-but-very-popular act is playing at least one fair gig. I hate to admit it, but Bieber is where it's at right now for the pop culture worshippers. It's probably less money out of the band's pockets, for one thing. And it's not like it's a rickety wooden stage and Rush have to compete with the pig judging and the carnival rides for attendance. Rest assured, I am sure it won't be "Puppet Show and Rush" at all. Excellent Spinal Tap reference.
  20. QUOTE (toonz @ Apr 8 2010, 11:36 AM) OK...Here is the deal on the Milwaukee show. It is happening on July 3rd, not the second as the website states. Ticket prices are $77 for the red seats, $67 for the yellow, $52 for the bleachers and $34 for the lawn. Those prices are less expensive than the last time they were here. Good thing. Clapton is playing there and charging $150/tic! $ 150 bucks to fall asleep. What a joke!
  21. QUOTE (Godeater2112 @ Apr 8 2010, 11:12 AM) QUOTE (Der Trommler @ Apr 8 2010, 11:03 AM) Here's a thought and just a thought. Didn't Rush used to sneak in songs they were working on for a new album while on the road? I can swear I remember them playing a song from the next album that they were working on in the studio to get a reaction. What if that's part of the Time Machine Mentality? Or, could break out the old Tama's and get all those synths and double neck guitars.....Then there's the kimono's and ah, I'm thinking too much into this. I like the new way they play just the same as the old. I'm curious though about what the rest of the setlist is going to comrpise of..... DT! I was also just thinking, what if it wasn't only the setlist that was sent through the TIME MACHINE. How about crazy vintage nostalgia all about. How about introducing The Trees with BROON'S BANE?! I know they are going to play Jacob's Ladder, I can feel it in my bones, but what about that awesome sweet little acoustic guitar intro bit like Alex did on Exit Stage Left? How about the big screen and special effects etc? Maybe bring back the COUNT FLOYD video from Grace Under Pressure Tour as intro to "The Weapon" or the Giant Presto Rabbit or the Nuts 'n Bolts concert intro from Counterparts. Man there are piles and piles of stuff they can do with this theme! How about NINETEEN SEVENTIES BEER PRICES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great idea on the beer prices.
