  1. Yeah, the lawn seating was pretty awful this time around.
  2. Vapor Trails is such a better album, on so many levels. Musically, it's much more extravagant.
  3. eBay is a terrible place. I use Amazon every time, because you get ripped off so much on eBay.
  4. http://literaryboner.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/hellraiser_1_poster_01.jpg I waited until I was 30 to watch this. The previews, and a few scenes I saw growing up, scared the hell out of me. And I like horror movies. It was honestly one of the scariest things I've ever seen in my life. Terrible effects, but it just left a mood that was frightening.
  5. This is my favorite Stephen King book. I am afraid to see it. I don't want to see it ruined. I really hope it isn't.
  6. I collect King Biscuit, I have GTR, Genesis, and Peter Gabriel, but don't have Rush. I'd love to get a copy of it.
  7. Actually, no. I was in the Lawn seats, and all the younger people were back there. There were little kids running around, lots of teenagers (of both genders), and a lot of 20's and 30 somethings. I think the older Rush fans are just more dedicated, so they got closer seats. But lots of younger Rush fans at the Cincy show.
  8. They were incredible! I agree. I do have to say that I wish I had been in the seated area, because it was uncomfortable being in the crowd in the lawn. Aside from that, though, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Great sound, tight playing, and overall great experience. I wish I could go again tonight!
  9. It's not just ringing in the ears. I have tinnitus and hearing damage, from going to concerts. I am 30 years old, and have been going to concerts since I was 1 year old, so I have years and years of terrible hearing damage. I am also a musician, as well as music lover, and need to preserve my hearing...so I wear musician's earplugs. They not only stop tinnitus, but they prevent ear ringing and make the concert more enjoyable. This is what I specially order from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-ETY-Plugs-Protection-Earplugs/dp/B0044DEESS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372854535&sr=8-1&keywords=baby+blues+musicians+earplugs
  10. He probably has these, but wouldn't share them publicly.
  11. I think Time Stands Still is the best Rush wedding song.
  12. I don't know what you're talking about. I saw the show last night, and Rush were incredible. Yes, Geddy's voice has changed, but I kind of like it now...kind of more unique. And musically, they were mind blowing. I saw them in 2002, and that show was good, but last night transcended another level. Perhaps you need to fix your hearing?
  13. Sleep Is Wrong by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum (although it is also awesome.)
  14. They've been getting progressively heavier again. That is always a good thing.
  15. I actually started to get bored, and then when he answered the phone ...."trablah blah"...I found myself laughing again. When I watched it a second and third time, I actually realized the significance of it, which made it even funnier.
  16. Genesis did the same thing when they were inducted in 2010. It's actually funny how close Genesis and Rush's stories are: both were crapped on by the Hall of Fame. Alex was able to demonstrate exactly how they felt, which was wonderful. It's ridiculous that Madonna and hip hop got into the Hall before those two bands...and Yes and The Moody Blues still aren't in!
  17. Well, I thought it was hilarious. I thought both Geddy and Neil's speeches were beautiful, but Alex is the one I will remember. I almost died laughing. I showed it to my 12 year old niece, and she was on the floor laughing!
  18. I'm going to go see them on the 25th. Should be a great show! Still loving the new album.
  19. Thanks for the heads up. Just edited the titles in my iTunes Match.
  20. I'm sure they will have new slideshows and video footage for the upcoming tour.
  21. Just bought the album on iTunes. Sounds wonderful so far, so much better than the leak.
  22. I like both, but SA was a mixed bag. Both really good and really bad tracks. There isn't a bad track on CA, at all. It's solid all the way through.
