  1. Pre sale was weird, they said pre sale started on the 14th at 10AM for some of the shows. I went on line on the 13th in the late afternoon and they were selling tickets. I got some. Is with starting the pre sale early.. Watch for that on these new pre sales..

  3. QUOTE (apetersvt @ Apr 19 2010, 01:51 PM) Considering there's a 99% chance both shows will be identical (in terms of setlist, videos, lasers, etc...), I'd go with great seats for one show. If Rush were the type of band to mix up the setlist each night, it would be a no-brainer to go with the 2 show option.
  4. Natural Science Time Stand Still Don't care as long as we get a good mix of years. it is a Time Machine, dial in a date.
  5. I'm loving life right now!!!!!
  6. Oh and the times they are a changin'
  7. I'd not put that idea past them... I love it. Very Cool idea!!
  8. Nice One metaldad! Will tick have fun?
  9. Hello, HAL. Do you read me, HAL? Affirmative, Dave. I read you. Open the pod bay doors, HAL. I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

Now, it is I that will be retiring from Rush.. after seeing the obscene ticket-pricing fiasco, among other things, I no longer recognize this band as the one I used to hold to such high esteem. Silly.. Why do you all think RUSH will retire soon? LMAO and I can't believe you dump RUSH for the ticket price that they don't really control, all venues have THEIR fees that we must pay, hence different ticket prices, and then the increase of EVERYTHING in this World we have higher ticket prices.. My Number one band has been TULL since 1968, I have paid from 5.50 a seat to $85 a seat, do I dump Tull for that? NOT!! I did dump them down a notch as they have not given us any new music in 10 fogging years. Not to change the subject but... I saw Tull in Connecticut a couple of years ago and wow, what an awful show! When did Ian Anderson become some a pretentious dud? The last I knew he was a rock and roll performer? He didn't allow any food or alcohol in the venue. He had a sign outside the entrance that said, "no food, alcohol, no whistling or shouting during the performance. It was quite lame. He ruined Aqualung by reworking it, and the energy in the room was dead. It was one of the worst shows I have seen in years! The last time I had seen Tull was Storm Watch tour, when he kicked ass! Tick you saw the tour we all called the AquaMessTour of 07, was insane and flat alright. The "no food, alcohol, no whistling or shouting during the performance" all started in 05 or 06 in Chili, but the pretentious dud started way way back in the day. That is a lot of why Andy and John left back in 06 I think it was. But why he is so bent on sitting and shutting up now is beyond me.. It is all them reasons I have dumped Tull down and RUSH UP!!! Even the tour in 08 was weak and the same old song. Martin RIPPED!! Last rippin Tull show I seen was was back with the Roots Tour 1995. I'm glad a diehard can see it what what it was and not sugar coat it. I was not trying to do anything but be completely honest. I went in pumped up to see the show, and walked out dazed and confused. So what you guys are saying is, basically, that Ian is in fact too old to rock and roll? Last show I saw was on the Roots tour, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was critically slammed and Ian made it a point to joke about it - "We're fat, in our mid-forties, and totally f-cked". Not so much to old to rock n' roll... But Living In The Past!!! I'v been very pissed at them for a long time and in 07 I walked out feeling like WTF? am I coming any more for, but at that time Tull went thru a member change and in 08 they did do better. Still the same old set list for the most part. Oh Yes, The Roots Tour was a great Album tour.. Meet my horse IAN > Is there a Tull thread here, I'v not seen it.. Yet. And the ticket prices are what they are, go or don't.. I paid 90 plus and will be happy with it..
  11. QUOTE (hazlnut @ Apr 15 2010, 01:19 PM)Don't you get it? With a time machine they can play songs from the past and from the future. I picture a big spinning date that changes with every song... Exactly!!! That was the first thing I thought of when I heard the tour name. Some new some old some in between some never played before.. What ever it is it will be damn Good

  15. Oh very looking forward to this tour Count them out of touring after 2011 Un like Tull who is always on the damn road and nothing new for us, takes time out to chill and re-energize. I'm So Glad!! So with that in mind, we take a year or 2 off after the Time Machine Tour and boom.. it is 2014 and time for a tour again, with a shorter set list, no need for 3 hrs, so we get 2 hrs, ONLY get an hour with Tull. Besides, Ian is 62 and still going and Rush Boys are 55 and 56. I'm the Boys age and hope to be just as damn strong at 62 as I am now... They are coming to Colo but I'm going to AZ, it is closer and cheaper.. New Tour and New Music, what is not to like? Will Rip!! HELL Yes I'm Excited!!!

It is at that... Know which Model? I thought the New Yorker was the model? Yes it is.. and in 1963 they made a New York called the Salon, was their top model, came with all 44 options that you could add to a New York. They made 593 of them.. Do you still have it? Yes I do.... Want it?

  18. They do yes, but if you have "will Call" you need to pick them up at the show box office.
  19. You order a ticket now and they hold it at "Will Call" until you pick it up at the time of the show..

  23. QUOTE (Tigershark2112 @ Apr 13 2010, 09:55 PM) Would anyone mind telling how much (on average) they spent per ticket? Columbus isn't on sale yet and I was trying to come up with an estimate so I can tell my friends how much moolah to give me in advance. I can't afford 4 tickets on my own! I paid 90 a seat for ABQ, they want 120 per seat at Red Rocks <
  24. ABQ NM, row 19.. Wish I had look an hour before, oh wish I had been home... Was row 17 for S&A so this is fine..
