  1. I checked my local Best Buy and they didn't have it. I purchased it today in Livingston, NJ at an independent record store called, "The CD Store". Felt good to support the little guy.
  2. "Pet Sounds", in my opinion, is the best sounding and best produced records ever made. It is perfect musically, lyrically, vocally from start to finish. It is simply beautiful. It always hovers around the top of any list of pop or rock music and there is a reason for that... ...two words, Brian Wilson. What he created with "Pet Sounds" is almost without definition musically. http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/500/53818895/Pet+Sounds.png
  3. I posted this in the "Albums you've listened to today" thread, but felt it deserves a thread of it's own... KISS - Destroyer (Resurrected) This is the remixed version of the 1976 classic, "Destroyer" which was released this week. ..."Destroyer" has long been one of my most favourite records, been in my top ten ever since I first purchased it wa-a-a-a-a-a-y back in 1976 when I was 13 years old. "Destroyer" is, in my opinion, KISS' best album start to finish...there is not a dud or filler on it. I was a bit skeptical about this remix, but rather curious knowing that Bob Ezrin was behind this project. That being said, the remix is #@!%$* amazing!!!! The sound is so good, the guitars are front and center and there are so many subtle and not so subtle nuances to it. Peter Criss' drumming on this album is unbelievable. He takes alot of heat, but his talent cannot be denied on this album and this remix proves it. The spirit of the original release remains intact, but it is a fresher sounding, guitar-driven record now. They have released it with the original cover, which was banned because it was thought to be too violent at the time. I highly recommend this one to any die hard KISS fan or to anyone who just wants to hear a fantastic rock and roll record. ~Cheers, RGLT http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/ultimateclassicrock.com/files/2012/01/Destroyer.jpg http://pullzone.musiclegends.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/Kiss-Destroyer-Resurrected-300x300.jpg
  4. "How long after Rush retires will you stop coming to TRF?" That's easy, I'm leaving with BabyCat and TreeDuck.
  5. "That Thing You Do!" I had forgotten what an enjoyable movie it is. http://img.filmous.com/static/photos/17101/28_midi.jpg
  6. QUOTE (tommyali @ Aug 23 2012, 08:00 AM) Am I the only one on the planet? Too me, Snakes and Arrows is just a better album from start to finish. A beautiful album. I would put it in my top three all time Rush albums. Don't get me wrong, Clockwork rocks. And at times rocks even harder than S&A. I mean, there's some pretty intense playing on it. But sometimes it seems to go a little too long. It drags. And some songs I'm just not crazy about. And I am a huge Rush fan, I've never disliked anything. But this one seems to have a little more bark than bite. Greetings and welcome to TRF! While I believe that "Clockwork Angels" is a better album musically, I still like "Snakes and Arrows" slightly better. "Clockwork Angels" finds the band building on what they accomplished with "Snakes and Arrows"...a great "Rush Sound" with perfect blends of "old" and "new" Rush. After all these years, they really are making some great music. ~Cheers, RGLT

That's actually the weird part, as my last name is Evans...
