  1. Being honest here... I'm really not liking Capaldi, still, but I LOVED this episode. I have so many theories. I thought of you YL. I know you're a huge DW fan and was looking forward to coming here and reading your input. :)
  2. I couldn't imagine it either but at least there was a happy compromise. :) We have two cats. Then had our babies. Baby #1 had a really bad allergy. So sorry for that. I handed him a box of tissue for that runny nose and those watery eyes. Fur babies were going nowhere.
  3. Wasn't something we could avoid. Can't go into it but yeah. Thankfully, very VERY close friends of ours, on a huge property, took them on and they are in cat heaven! So it was a winner for us all! I am so glad you found a friend to take in your kitty cats. Pets are just awesome. I've always had them and always will. I couldn't even imagine not having pets. A house becomes a home only when there's a pet inside.
  4. Can't be worse than me. I had to look it up to find out it was a show and not a movie. It seemed like it was, "the show" to watch a while back. See, I didn't even know that. Just last spring I started watching Lost. I'm midway through season 5 now. I've never seen Smallville or Breaking Bad (shows many have told me I'd like). I haven't seen Lost, Smallville or Breaking Bad but that is definitely one I want to watch. Along with: Sherlock, Fear the Walking Dead, Intruders, Broadchruch and Game of Thrones. Haven't seen any of the shows you mentioned either. I've never even heard of Intruders or Broadchurch. I am SO glad I'm not the only one. :) Broadchurch is the show David Tennant did right after his departure from Doctor Who and I just really like him so I've been meaning to watch it. Another favorite actor of mine is John Simm and he's in the show, "Intruders." He was also the Master in Doctor Who. Got a theme here! Who? What? ;) Actually, I've never seen Doctor Who either. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/whowut.gif http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/I_has_a_sad.gif Wow. Not one single episode? I can honestly say that Doctor Who is a must see. There's a doctor for everybody.

  8. Classic or NewWho? Classic. It's on retroTV. Still great though. :ebert: Nice, which Doctor was it? Tom Baker So fun to watch my oldest wrap his head around the show. As I watched it, I was reminded it was fountain of creativity on a shoestring budget...and good for the lads as well. After that, an introduction to MST3000 happened. Another great show If you're going to start watching Doctor Who, then Baker is the way to go. It took me years, literally, to be convinced to watch any other doctor. I still cry a little admitting that Tennant is my now favorite, followed by Baker, then Smith, then Davison who I actually wouldn't watch because he followed Baker! I like him though. In a last place kind of way.
  9. How I Met Your Mother I am embarrassingly behind the times.
  10. Part of me wants my own over-done dollhouse in the backyard but the other part says to just keep banishing men to a corner of the real house while I rule the remaining portion.
  11. Happy Birthday to the silent lurker. :) I hope you're well. Enjoy your birthday day and I hope it's a happy one.
  12. Thank you TW! :) It's nice to see additional birthday wishes. It's like I get to keep on enjoying it.
  13. your member name should be "...you know who I mean" So it will read "That One Guy... you know who I mean" That is AWESOME! Someone make this happen!!!
  14. HA! I love it! My only Alex post. I still think he's cute but my celeb crush has changed to Jason Segel. Got any good Segel pics for me?
  15. Thank you everyone for the additional birthday wishes. I had a great day yesterday! Very relaxing, had a great dinner and the cake was fantastic. :)
  16. <------------- HA! (pic comes up better in my profile)
  17. My day is being spent with my favorite person. Me. It's the one day I get to myself. No people. Family and friends are constantly around, in my ear. I never get alone time. It's the one day where I do what I want and take my own sweet time. Go where I want, buy what I want. It's a beautiful thing. Go to a spa, get a relaxing massage. The husband takes care of dinner and the boys have free-range to make (and decorate) my cake however they want. I predict I will be eating a cake weighed down with over two-inches of candy-infused frosting.
  18. I'm going to watch, "Blink" tonight. Again. I love that episode. Or maybe, "The Eleventh Hour." Or maybe a good old-fashioned Baker episode. I've been trying to figure out how to upload the Doctor Who opening song into my phone to use as my ringtone and, "Exterminate" for whenever I delete something.
  19. This is exactly what happened the last time I tried to hula hoop. It's cute when you're four. Not almost forty-four. I sprained a hip.
  20. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! What a treat to read these messages first thing in the morning! An extra special thanks to RGLT. You're so thoughtful and good to me :)
  21. For sure! Half a century today. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/whmb.gif Whoa Happy Birthday ya old dude!
  22. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/birthday_cake.gif Have a great birth... day JB! :)
  23. I love basset hounds! They are so cute. But, everyone has great-looking puppy doggies. :)
  24. I have no problem with the term "chicks". To me, women are old, stuffy people while chicks are cool, younger people. But of course, like any word, it's all about the intention. Most of the Rush fans I know IRL are male, although I'm a bigger fan than most of them :D I've never called any woman a chick in my every day life. But I've probably said the word on HERE with the intention similar to what you said, i.e. "cool woman." Someone might've been offended regardless of my intention. I wonder if any guys get offended when I refer to them as "cats"...."This one cat walked in the bar looking like Arthur Fonzarelli". I know DO dislike when some say that bitter, old bullshit, "ALL men are dogs." I call all my girlfriends "bitches" and they don't seem to mind. ;) I kid. I'm fine with chick, woman, gal ANYTHING other than ma'am. I feel old when someone says that. I kind of like the term chickadee. It's cute.
