My overexcited little first graders. They had to wear boots and snow pants today. Some of them were so bundled up they could barely move. It was all I could do to not yell "I can't put my arms down! "

My 2 year old furnace has decided not to work. I spent How much money to avoid this problem? Waiting for a decent hour to call my brother to fix it. He is a highly qualified HVAC guy.

Various cousins, Uncles, and my Dad have served in the Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy. I have two nephews currently serving, 1 in the Navy, 1 in the Army National Guard. I'm proud of all of them! And also a bunch of friends who are either former Navy, or Air Force vets.

Watches birds, cooks, writes books, hikes in the park, does yoga, hangs out with the wife and kid and occaisionally bangs things with sticks. Also dumb normal stuff like the rest of us. There is a Rush cover band at the BMO Harris stage. All of the fan Groups that I know of will be over there. I will be over there with the group from Bubbas Bar and Grill at some point. Not sure when though. I would say that if there is someone specific that you want to meet,send them a message.

I iron almost daily, unless I'm wearing jeans(which is only on the weekends.). We're expected to look professional, and there isn't much out there for women that looks professional and doesn't need ironing. If I waited for the dryer to do it, I'd be late for work, and it's a waste of energy.

Not pissed off so much as concerned. Bubba's Bar and Grill (the forum)is temporarily closed due to a malfunction with the board. Lost a year's worth of posts. I can't fix it because I'm not a tech. I hope someone backed it up!

Wow this place needed cleaning! It's spotless now, but it took a while. Snacks are on the bar. Beverages in the fridge. Happy Monday People.

MM, you are too funny. What pissed me off today? A parent who knew something HUGE happened to their child overnight, and didn't bother to tell me. Then expected the poor thing to behave themself all day, and me to deal with it. Get a clue people, keep me in the loop please. We have counselors and social workers who could have helped the poor thing deal with it. I had a huge headache from dealing with attitude all day. He had a right to have attitude. I just needed to know that!

Due to a glitch in scheduling, I had 20 minutes and nothing for my students to do. They had finished all of their work for this week. I let them play with the indoor recess toys. They never get to play with those things(we haven't had an indoor recess yet this year). 20 minutes of peaceful playing with legos and dinosaurs.

If they are indeed playing at Summerfest, save yourself a headache and ride the bus from your downtown hotel. It takes hours to get out of the lot, but it is very convenient. You can hang out until the lot clears a bit. There are a lot of fine hotels downtown, but they fill up fast for Summerfest, especially on a weekend. Make your reservations as soon as you buy your tickets. I could say more, but let's save it for the official thread :yay: so the info doesn't get lost.

If you don't mind me asking, will these shows be west or east coast? My guess: since the Hall of fame ceremony is in Los Angeles, west coast before Europe. My second guess: Since they are playing in April, we should see dates before the 14th of this month, at least for the early shows. These are just guesses, based on what they've done in the past. I don't have pipeline to what is really going on.

I don't think they will wait that long. This leg was 3 months. The European tour is 6 weeks. There's still plenty of motorcyle riding to be done in the U.S and Canada during the Summer and early Fall. There were a lot of places that were skipped on this leg, Milwaukee and Red Rocks, to name a few.
