  1. How did Sean Astin end up on this wonderfully awful sucktacular on Syfy?
  2. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Apr 23 2010, 03:11 PM) QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Apr 23 2010, 04:11 PM) Ditto. Good tune, but lets give it a rest and insert Afterimage This.
  3. QUOTE (PassTheAmmunition @ Apr 21 2010, 05:55 PM)Stone's Ruiniation is in my top 3 beers all-time. For me it's just the greatest combination of flavor, awesome citrus scents and hops, hops and more hops. Oh yeah, and alcohol...lots of booze in that bottle.
  4. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Jan 22 2010, 07:21 PM)edit: hearing some real positive buzz about Sam Adams Noble Pils. Anybody tried it yet? I liked it a lot. Nice flavor, not packing too much of a punch. I'd get it again with no reservations.
  5. Eh. Gotta feeling it's one of those movies I'll never see.
  6. For some reason I wanna see a kit with some type of sparkle finish. Either blue or white. It'll prolly be red but a boy can dream.
  7. Hey, I'm away from a computer for a day or two longer, on the iPhone now. Makes it difficult to post pics. If somebody wants they can go ahead and post a pic.
  8. We're being led to believe that the opener is a "hit". Not a piece of "shit".
  9. As a certified B-movie fan, I thought I'd seen possibly the worst movie ever in "Manos: Hands of Fate", but alas I had yet to see "The Mesa of Lost Women". I had heard of this gem but couldn't find it but found it on youtube. I dare anyone to watch all the way through the first clip...it's unbelievably bad...and not even hilariously bad...just....bad: The Mesa of Lost Women
  10. QUOTE (tick @ Apr 22 2010, 07:18 AM)Thanks GOAR! and now... http://i883.photobucket.com/albums/ac31/jafean/34565.jpg There is literally nothing I could come up with that is funnier than the pic itself...I mean, just look at those two...seriously? Not just one, but two 40 year old virgins.
  11. QUOTE (EmotionDetector @ Apr 22 2010, 06:30 PM) QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Apr 22 2010, 03:31 PM) i'm totally convinced that they could play a setlist where everyone was happy and there would still be endless bitching. Not only that...I think Rush could play their ENTIRE catelog from 'Finding My Way' right through to 'We Hold On', and people would still be unhappy! Too much filler.
  12. QUOTE (snowdog2112 @ Apr 22 2010, 06:22 PM) QUOTE From Tom Sawyer... "The SPACY INVADER gets by on you".. I remember someone back in high school who knew I liked Rush asking me "What's the name of that song they do about Space Invaders?" Not a misquote of TS but my wife asked the other day, "What is this song about?".
  13. As long as the opening band didn't play any songs and just set up Rush's gear and did a sound check then went away...I'd be ok with that.

  15. No problem with key changes here!
  16. QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 21 2010, 03:38 PM) QUOTE (snowdog2112 @ Apr 21 2010, 03:36 PM) I sure hope they continue to film their tours, this is stuff we're (or at least I'm) gonna want to relive over and over. Especially down the road when they stop touring. Wow, in the next year and a half or so we'll have a full Rush documentary, a 2112/Moving Pictures Classic Albums dvd, a couple new songs soon, a shorter tour this year with The Camera Eye and Jacob's Ladder at the minimum, and a longer tour next year supporting a full new album. I hope people can enjoy all this and focus on the positives for a while. There is so much great stuff to be excited about I hope people don't bitch too much when the inevitable song or songs is/are played that some of you don't like. This is just pure awesome fun as far as I'm concerned. This is the most excited i have been for a Rush tour in a long time. Seriously
  17. Thanks for the link!
  18. 1.5 hours until the next little magic carpet ride.
  19. QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Apr 20 2010, 05:40 PM) QUOTE (Blenderhead @ Apr 20 2010, 09:15 PM) I have a confession: I've never seen Star Wars. Loser! Yeah. How is that even possible?
  20. QUOTE (Xanadu93 @ Apr 20 2010, 06:10 PM) QUOTE (theredtamasrule @ Apr 20 2010, 01:13 PM)Tennessee anything. Vols only, or any Tennessee team (college or professional) in any type of sport? Tennessee period.
  21. I'd go see it in 3D just for the novelty of it if nothing else.

I think that would be interesting and entertaining. The Han Solo Adventures, by Brian Daley, is a 1979 trilogy of science fiction novels which take place two years before the events of A New Hope. The trilogy follows the smuggling days of Han Solo and Chewbacca before the movies. The books in the trilogy are: Han Solo at Stars' End (April 1979) Han Solo's Revenge (June 1979) Han Solo and the Lost Legacy (August 1979) These were some of the very first books set in the Star Wars universe, released before The Empire Strikes Back. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/20/Stars_End_cover.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9b/Han_Solos_Revenge_cover.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/6b/Lost_Legacy_Cover.jpg Lucas needs to hire a competent director and gets these made. They would kick ass, as well as being a cash cow. What current 20- or 30-something actor would make the best Han Solo now? http://trailerblogger.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/zack.jpg Best Han Solo. Not the most baked Han Solo.
