QUOTE (esmeralda @ Jun 24 2005, 03:23 PM) Tomorrow is the Rockin Park Festival with NIN, Racoon, Keane, REM , Lenny Kravitz, Queens of the Stoneage and others. Maybe I'll go overthere and have a look.. Keane are great in concert ! Not nearly as boring as one might think considering the type of music they play.

Going to see the coolest band on the planet (sorry ... next to Rush) ... got my tickets to see Oasis in September. And ... I have actually convinced Jack to go with me (will wonders never cease)

QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Dec 21 2004, 12:05 PM) QUOTE (Quyn @ Dec 21 2004, 11:24 AM) Kinda like how "Joe" from Blues Clues could be really creepy if he wasn't on a kid's show. Steve was hotter. Yeah but even he was a little creepy --- especially now that he is hanging out with the Flaming Lips !

Loved it ... of course, I had to watch most of it alone since Jack couldn't sit through the whole thing. No car chases, no blood, lots of talking. But a great movie. Another good one I had to watch alone last week --- Home at the End of The World. Who knew Colin Farrell could actually act? I thought he just could look really good !

QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Dec 20 2004, 05:05 PM) QUOTE (paganoman @ Dec 20 2004, 03:55 PM) My girls went through their stint of Wiggle watching. It seems to have passed now. I actually get embarrassed for them I would never be able to go out there and do that. Yes! My sons went through a short period of watching, and I felt the SAME way...how can four grown men ACT like that? Kinda like how "Joe" from Blues Clues could be really creepy if he wasn't on a kid's show. What can I say ... I have a four year old niece who adores him!!

Furhter proof of my "bass players are better looking" theory There's Guy Berryman (Coldplay) ... http://www.thaiticketmaster.com/concert/images/coldplay/guy.jpg Sting ... http://www.fur.com/kveldulf/pics/Sting.gif And the "so beautiful he makes your heart stop" Alex James (Blur) http://www.velvet.net/~starshaped/pics/alexelle2.jpg

This is going way back ... but here is my first real music "crush" Ladies -- meet John Taylor. He is everything you need in a man... gorgeous, British, slightly pale, and a bass player. (So why did I marry a slightly ruddy American drummer ???) Everyone knows bass players are always better looking. http://www.lpl.arizona.edu/~kmeyers/images/music/JohnTaylor.gif http://www.boysofmylife.blogger.com.br/john_taylor_.gif
