  1. I don't like the Subdivisions cover either. These covers seem very pretentious to me. But I do give him credit for trying something different. When I hear “pretentious” in the context of music, I automatically think of Justin Timberlake covering those Prince songs at the SuperBowl last year. But you know, opinions are like buttholes and all that. Exactly, they are all full of shit!
  2. Also, about 89, 000 of those posts were polls he created.Congratulations to our resident Metal Head!
  3. I had to have surgery on one of my butt cheeks last week. The doctor did a real half-assed job.

    Secret Touch

Right on, brutha! Brutha Fridge preaches the truth! Fixed
  5. Didn't Jean $immons brings girls to Rush's room only to have Alex scare them off with "The Bag"? (Not sure where I read that....) :D Actually, they kicked the girl out of the room because she tried to take the bag off of Alex's head.
  6. I can't wait for the album to come out in November. This is a pretty damn good song considering it's by two guy's in their mid-seventies. It has a very classic Townshend/Who sound. https://ultimateclassicrock.com/the-who-2019-album/
  7. I’m not a millennial but your definition of “brainwashing” is different from mine. Hollywood makes anything they think will be an easy sell. Why wouldn’t they? Most of it is certainly shit imho but where’s the brainwashing? I don't really think it is the millennials that even get the most excited about the super-hero movies, I think that it is people from our generation like you and I that read these comic books fanatically when we were kids. Actually, the 18 to 34 demo edges out our generation. https://www.statista...viewership-age/ Yeah, more of them see it because the percentage of people who read comic books fanatically from our generation was probably not that high.

  9. After only a few listens I can truly say that this is a great album and an improvement on Yynot's debut album which I like a lot. It has much better production and mixing than the debut which I find sounds a little thin. The writing overall is more sophisticated and the musicianship shines on a pretty constant basis on Guitar, bass and drums. There is definitely a jazzier feel to many of the jams in the songs and all the songs on the album seem to flow into one another in a totally cohesive manner. There is really nothing bad that I can say about this album. It will definitely get plenty of listens from me.
  10. He will soon forget about this bad ordeal once he goes to band camp. ;)
  11. I don't know if I would want to spend the day with any of them because it would probably feel forced and awkward, but let's just say I met one of them having a drink in a bar and started having a few drinks, then it would definitely be Alex because I think we'd have a lot of laughs together.
  12. They have the right to release whatever they want, but if they are just going rehash the same old stuff in different formats I have no interest.
  13. I would go with Blazing Saddles because I don't remember History of the World all that well, I just remember that when I saw it around 40 years ago I did not think it was one of Mel Brooks' better movies.
  14. I miss Madelyn Khan. She is definitely up there in the best comedic actresses of all time category, and she was also damn sexy. R.I.P.
  15. Not according to Gene Simmons. But, if you watch this interview they definitely did some major mind altering substances. Alex is so f#cking high and Geddy isn't too far behind. Neil is pretty high too, but not like they are. :D http://youtu.be/XGK2uWbOH30
  16. I remember Geddy saying in an interview that when he first started singing he was singer in a deeper register but it did not sound good. I like his 80's and 90's voice a lot better than the 70's one. If that is so, that he forced himself to sing like that in the seventies, it could have contributed to the deterioration of his voice, especially in light of how often they toured. Forcing himself to sing that high definitely hurt his vocal cords after time.
  17. The two instrumentals that’ll be on there DID make the cut. They’re instrumental versions of My Favourite Headache and Home on the Strange I didn't even check the link. I was just messing around but that's even more lame. I hear you. If they were completely new songs, they would’ve been advertised as such in the biggest fonts possible. I have a feeling that they will be re-releasing special edition versions of all of the Rush albums soon without any vocals or instruments, 2112 mime version I'm all in for that if the mime kills himself in the end.
