I like when they're on TV, even when I own the DVD. The idea of a shared experience is cool, and there's always the chance that someone new will see it and become a Rush fan! As much as I hate to say it . . . and I love the effort and passion that Lee pours into his singing . . . I am starting to find it tough to watch him struggling. R40 is an incredible feat as a show, a fantastic sendoff . . . but I think I'd want any prospective fans watching some of the older classic shows. But a new fan has nothing to compare Geddy's voice to like long time fans. So it would probably sound good to their ears. I find that you get more bang for your buck from Geddy's voice on R40. There are many more syllables than on any of the other live shows.

thanks, Obama. Can we all please just at least admit that Nazis aren't quite as great as we thought they were?

Yes, I hope! I'm already saving, lol. Maybe a little easier to schedule more often now that they don't have to worry about tours . . . :( With our family just having had a wedding this summer it wasn't in the cards for me this time. For half the price, I can set it up so you two gals can meet Rush.

That's only because Neil didn't know that he had fans in Belgium.

Are you referring to the old guy air drumming or the 7 year old drummer?

Yeah, Double Fantasy would have probably been one of the greatest albums ever if he kept Yoko away from it.

Maybe some Zeppelin influence in there but they sound nothing like Zeppelin. -

Check out this amazing cover they do live in the studio of The Kinks song Yes Sir No Sir. -
This is one of the best new bands around . If you watch these videos you will agree.

Amen to that! I myself, being a murderer and a rapist can also attest to the fact that those are the worst kind of people. Was it the same person, if so, which happened first? It's really hard to keep track of all of the murdering, raping and such when I am just too damn busy being disgusted by people who want Neil to lose all of his money. WARNING!: Do not try this at home.

If there were to be ONE final show...
snowdogged replied to Thunder Bay Rush's topic in On The Lighted Stage
They could take up residency here and put on a few shows a week. http://www.thedunfield.com/ -
I seem to recall Alex saying in an interview that the demos got lost somewhere along the line.

Duh, did the dancer slow her frantic pace?

RIP I watched The Last Movie Star a few months back and it was quite a touching movie. The character he plays is basically based on him. It would be even more touching to watch it now.

Whenever I listen to this song it reminds me of The Garden from Clockwork Angels, but this is a much better song.

Red Barchetta Live in Utah YYNOT
snowdogged replied to Stugotz's topic in Exercises in Self-Indulgence
Yup, definitely amazing sound for a live recording. Billy remixed the board audio! He did an amazing job! The sound is very close to the recording and mix of Red Barchetta on Exit Stage Left. -
Duh, do the maples want more sunlight?

I'd rather have a bush in the bus.
