  1. QUOTE (Tick @ May 30 2012, 05:35 AM) I LOVE LOBSTER!!! I have had it the last 2 weekends in a row. It was 5.99 a lb and we bought 4 each time. I steam them(perfectly, cause I don't ever mess up anything I cook!) and cracked them all. I then heat the meat in butter and lemon and put it on buttery toasted hot dog rolls. Lobster rolls are the perfect food! Holy crap they rock!!! Then I make Cole slaw, and corn on the cob. Perfect! What a great price! I would've stocked up. I love lobster! I broil or grill it in garlic butter with a little paprika. It comes out tasting awesome every time!
  2. Happy Birthday!

I graduated high school in 1985, so these are right in my wheelhouse. LiX, Without You but not Home Sweet Home? I graduated HS in 85 also, all of these are the soundtrack to every HS event, dance, new boyfriend and bad breakup. Lot more fun listening to them now though. Then I'm sure you'll join me in saying that the "real" REO ballad in the poll should have been Keep on Loving You. ^^ I agree. Hands down winner if it were in this poll. I just saw REO in May and that one was too sappy for me to listen to. I liked hearing their earlier songs such as Golden Country and Son of a Poor Man, though.

  6. I know Ged & Al bring their own vintage wines on tour with them, so I'm guessing they are great at taking care of their crew.
  7. We start to see the Walt we will all "love to hate" emerge last night. Cocky and sure of himself and his power. Great episode!
  8. QUOTE (Animate @ May 1 2012, 09:47 PM) QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Mar 20 2012, 10:37 AM) I have to go with the 70's as this was when I first fell in love with Ged. Of course my continues to grow and I still think he's a hottie. But literally standing next to him in the early days when he played, and have him smile and look into my eyes hooked me! 70's for me too, plz. tnx. I would love to hear more details about this encounter, if you don't mind sharing! I'm old enough to have seen them since 1976. There were no barriers, no security. I stood in front of him staring and drooling time and again and he always smiled at me, or winked at me or even pointed at me a few times. I met them all, yes even Neil, after shows when they just hung out and talked with the fans for a few minutes. Geddy always commented it was nice to see a girl amid all the male faces in the crowd.

  18. I was very unhappy with this movie. SPOILERS: They re-wrote how he got bit by the spider and how Uncle Ben died ???? As said above a re-boot, which was unnecessary IMHO! It seemed really drawn out until the got to the villian vs. spiderman section of the movie. Very disappointed!
  19. Nice to know there actually is a Rush tribute band in Denver.
  20. QUOTE (analog guy @ Jul 3 2012, 01:50 PM) QUOTE (GeddyLeeFender @ Jul 2 2012, 03:45 PM) Denver please!! Yes. Has to happen. Surely they wouldn't skip Red Rocks.... they were here twice last time! I am bummed they didn't come here for the 2nd leg of the TM tour. I hope they do a 2nd US leg. For now it seems like mostly Europe. In one interview I read from Ged, he did not sound pleased they were touring in fall/winter at inside venues, because he can't control the temperature and ends up getting sick.
  21. I saw it opening day. It's funny if you dig MacFarlane and his humor. I noticed those who laughed the hardest were the 20-somethings in the audience.
