  1. I could eat all that but not in five minutes it might take me a half an hour.
  2. I did the same thing. I watched the first 4 or 5 and then it didn't hold my attention. I`ve just started Trial 4. You reckon it`s worth sticking with? I did. Still not convinced the guy is innocent. Watch the whole thing then we can discuss. I have a thread about it in SOCN because one of the posters there is\was a prosecutor in Boston and I wanted to get his thoughts. Yes, I saw that just as I was scrolling through Netflix trying to pick. Give it a spin.

  5. Just finished the 5th season of Peaky Blinders. Not as good as the earlier seasons but still pretty good. The creators should do a series that centers around Alfie Solomon's. As Alfie, Tom Hardy steals every scene he is in which is far too few of them.
  6. The Hangover. All I heard repeatedly is how funny this movie was. When I finally saw it I don't think I laughed once.
  7. I feel like whenever I see Eddie in a movie or TV show, it is a serious part not intended to be funny. His stand up is pretty good as well. If anyone should be removed from this list its him.
  8. The rate has skyrocketed in the States, too. The approach to managing COVID is a bit myopic in that respect. Being stuck inside for 3 or 4 months now has been taxing. I am ready for things to go back to normal, whatever that is.
  9. .....Eagles, Boston, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, The Almond Brothers, Journey, Steve Miller, etc, etc, etc......
  10. I haven't listened to FM radio in about 8-10 years and there are dozens of bands and hundreds of songs that I still hope to never hear again.
  11. I only watched this once and I remember not thinking much of it. Maybe I should try again.
  12. Hard to argue any of that. If pressed this is usually what I will say is my all time favorite movie. Favorite scene is really hard to say. Probably the scene with Michael in the hospital protecting his father from another hit attempt. Not a lot of dialogue but there didn't need to be. Very tense scene. Very powerful.
  13. Number one would probably be Harlem Knights. After that, in no particular order: Grumpy Old Men Grumpier Old Men Airplane Beverly Hills Cop Slapshot Blazing Saddles Animal House Dr Strangelove Caddyshack
  14. On that list? Queen. It was close with the Beatles but in the end, I listen to Queen a lot more that I listen to the Beatles. All the rest are really good bands, with the exception of King Crimson who I have never actually listened to and so have no opinion of.

  16. You could pop over to the UK and Ireland while you were visiting. I was going to say go to Scotland and Ireland, you will have more fun.
  17. Travelers. Pretty entertaining show though it frequently suffers from plot holes and the normal suspension of belief you have to watch anything that is sci fi set in current times.
  18. I think the show was really good up through season five. After that it turned into a bunch of rom-com garbage. Most of my friends find the humor either unfunny or offensive. I tend to find it either worth a chuckle or unfortunately offensive. At any rate I'm told by many that it's garbage, but my family tends to enjoy it, especially Sheldon. What do people find offensive about it? Lots of things. Indian stereotypes, female stereotypes, nerd stereotypes...the list just goes on. It's just not as funny as the much better Community. They don't use the same joke over and over again like that Bazinga crap. Abed is way funnier than Sheldon. Six seasons and a movie! Come on, Sony! My response was about people finding it offensive. I can't imagine what its like to live in that kind of bubble. As far as quality of the show, well that's subjective. Much to your point, after reading this I binge watched the first season of Community and I didn't find that very funny at all. In fact, I doubt I watch further seasons. IMO, BBT is a much more entertaining show than Community at least if you are comparing their first seasons. This of course is just my opinion.
