My post IS MY opinion, and I simply meant when taking ALL of those things into consideration. None of the bands you listed IN MY OPINION stand up to all 3 of these criteria ( talent + longevity+ sales)

My original LP and cassette of Hemispheres had a smaller pause at @ 4:24 (right before I bring truth and understanding) than the Remaster if I remember correctly. DOES the SECTORS Hemispheres have the same length pause as Remaster? Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

My understanding of test pressings is that everytime you play it you degrade the quality... not sure why or how... but wanted to throw that out there for you to research before you actually play it/them. I could be wrong, but I think I remember hearing that.

Ive said it sooo many times before.... If Rush would release cds of them isolated I'd buy every single one, thats guitar/bass/drums/keys/ effects. This would make some Big Money for them!

i feel for you... I had to sell all my vinyl (including complete Rush canadian anthem ) two summers ago.

Congrats! I will be getting re-married (Kim's first time) next June 8th, and I was thinking about doing something similar i.e. a few Rush songs mixed in during dinner, or maybe even the string versions? I dunno but i'm trying to find a way to get RUSH into our big day!

bump. 3 is much different than one. Plus many seats are held til last minute by members of band etc. and there's always someone who has to eat a ticket on the day of, this way they dont have to. win win Rain date was my 43rd show, so I'm ok with missing one :-)
