I think when you are from the south you have a different take on what “south” means than non southerners. I generally don’t recognize anything Texan to be from the south.

Wrong. It's actually a good album. When I heard it I was even more confused. With the drastic change in image I expected a drastic change in music. It still sounded like Garth doing Garth to me. Kind of like the first time you heard ghost. Expectations were not met based on image.

So who thinks the woman will come forward with the evidence in 2018? Don't know. Just posting what I found. I did some further searching and this apparently happened although it wasn't quite reported the way the blind item says it happened. I would say most musicians (especially from the 70s) have crossed a lot of lines most of us wouldn’t be ok with. Jimmy page hooked up with under age girls and ted nugent married an underage girl after her parents signed him over to her as legal guardian.

I would definitely not classify them as southern rock. Texas boogie and southern rock completely different animals. I don’t have a problem callin them hard rock but they’re one of the few bands that would be comfortable playing a dance hall while couples did a little two step on the floor in that genre.
