  1. Have no cheese to add, but am happy to meet another Middletown Dreams loather. Never understood the hype over it. One of my favorite song lyrics. The entire song just speaks to me about those desires we have and what we want out of life, but just dont have the wherewithal to go after them...for any number of reasons. It's the 'Dreams flow across the heartland' that makes me cringe. I expected better from Neil. I love that line.

  3. My 5 favorite Middletown Dreams Grand Designs The Weapon Subdivisions Marathon
  4. Hysteria is a masterpiece of pop/rock. More great hooks and riffs than most bands have their entire career
  5. Definitely one of my top 10 fave bands. Were they punk though?... Post neo modern pop punk?
  6. My 2 favorite bands. No one else even in the same universe. Rush by the tiniest of margins.
  7. I love, love love Dog Years so i choose to think that your review of the song is awful! :) I also love Totem and Virtuality. Also, where would you rank Test for Echo? The song is great. The album is around 15 for me.

  9. Great choice...Pat Benatar doesn't get mentioned enough around here. What a great voice. And Giraldo was a very good guitarist.
  10. As for the Yestival set list: Cool that they played a song from each album, but man what a short set list. I guess it is because these dudes are old, but how about a few more tunes?
  11. Permanent Waves Physical Graffiti Crimes of Passion - Benatar Black Sheets of Rain - Bob Mould Circa - Mary's Danish Honey I'm Homely - Dance Hall Crashers Abbey Road American Idiot - Green Day The Slider - T Rex Liege and Lief - Fairport Convention

  15. Nope. Both are on live albums. So i can hear them live anytime I want to. How about Ogre Battle, Liar, Jesus, Need Your Lovin, White Man, and especially Prophets Song, etc..
  16. 62 degrees and overcast. Definitely not August weather. Feels like October
  17. The setlist is good (what else would it be), but the lack of any real deep cuts sucks. At least bust out one song that takes everyone by surprise instead of playing pretty much the same songs they play every time they tour.
  18. So it's not their best song for YOU. But it is their best song. You're confusing favorite with best.
