It was released in Japan the day before.

I'm sure he is a good guy, and Axe Heaven makes cool stuff, but they don't answer emails. What's Axe Heaven?

Been more than a week. Right now, The Steve Rothery Band Live In Rome is kicking my ass.

Where did you get this info? Maybe he means only digitally? There's no way it's actual record sales/airplay even when it got re-released when Archives came out. I think he's making shit up. So it appears.....

I suppose rehab is one option!

It takes that many spins huh? Maybe I will like it by 2020 then.... :) It was 1987. I had a hell of a lot more free time then!

This box was made for you....seriously.

That was pretty cool! When the remix first came out it was decided to to always listen to both consecutively so I would always be familar with the differences, but as I did that I noticed I liked the original much better. I don't really listen to the remix that much anymore. I know the band signed off on it and sanctioned it, but I question just how much they were involved in the process of the creative choices that were made. Especially since they are on record as hesitant to revisit that period. One of the cool things about Rush is the context in which they work and the rexmix pretty much destroys anything that was there so while the remix may more pleasing sonically, many of the reasons I love the album in the first place got lost somewhere along the way. I jokingly refer to the remix as FrankenTrails myself.

I'd be more excited if they released the audio of the entire show.
-
Won't say I liked it right off, but after getting bludgeoned by the likes of Primer Mover, Turn The Page and Mission it revealed itself nicely after the first 25 or so spins of Hold Your Fire.

So do I. Only missing that white one and the 2112 Tourbook (The two rarest and most expensive ones as it turns out.) Complete collection otherwise. I traded an original Kiss Meets The Phantom commemorative magazine about 20 years ago to a co-worker for an autographed Hemispheres tourbook and he was even happier about it than I was. No idea why I would have kept that Kiss magazine, but I'm really glad I did.

I'll give you $50 for everything. :D Well I hadn't considered it, but I might induldge you at that price for my copy of Everthing Your Listeners Ever Wanted To Hear By Rush But You Were Afraid to Play.

I don't know. that ending to Closer To The Heart during the Test For Echo Tour is pretty much otherworldly.

Used record store? Given that it was the highest charting single of Rush's career, it's probably one of the more common Rush 45s around. I'll check to see if I have an extra. Thanks, dude! I found it. PM if interested. Avatar says you're from Germany so shipping might be a deal breaking expense.

Too much. I'm actually trying to thin some of it out. Inquire within.

A co-worker asked the same thing about 20 years ago when I was listening to the cassette of the Electric LadyLand show and Here Again was playing. "No, it's not Janis Joplin, but I can kind of see why you might think that."

Start with the first album and work your way forward chronologically and experience it like they did and watch it all unfold. -
I think it was in Toronto just like the other Moving Pictures Tour tracks. Neil said around the time of Signals that Vital Signs and Natural Science were songs the band prepared for the Exit..Stage Left album but they didn't make the cut. That particular recording of Vital Signs has never been released on CD. I still wonder whatever happened to that recording of Natural Science.

No, but it would be really easy to do. Too easy.

New album for me.
