  1. What's the poster like? I never bothered to register my copies.
  2. I haven't opened mine either. Still considering if I will or not.
  3. I'm only guessing at this, but even if you sold all of those I don't think you'd get enough to buy the entire SHM collection. I'm no professional appraiser, but I think the rarest one of that lot is the space shuttle which typically goes for something in the $50 to $100 range. The rest can probably had for significantly less than the high end of that range.

    Ignore

I knew I wouldn't be disappointed when I clicked on this...
  5. Haven't gotten mine yet, but since i already bought the CD/DVD in a weak moment the weekend before release I'm not getting too excited about not having it yet.
  6. Depends on who they get to do the art although I'll reserve judgement.
  7. At first i thought it may have been an earlier version of Need Some Love myself, but I'm really not sure.
  8. Nice! I have most of these, but I know I'm missing the first three Modern Drummer covers. I don't have that Entertainment Weekly either.
  9. Thanks for posting that. There's a few here I didn't know about and would like to get my hands on.
  10. I thought the Clockwork Angels DVD sounded pretty good on first listening. Wasn't all that thrilled with the directorial/editing choices on the first viewing.
  11. May have an Archives(Gray Cover) lying around here for less than $20. I have the more rare black cover (Anthem), but that's probably slightly more.
  12. I don't like this aspect either. Don't appreicate the meta thing going on with the the cameraman filming a fan filming the band. And this is just a personal thing, but they should have caught Neil tossing his stick before the outtro to The Big Money. I know we've seen it plenty of times already, but i view that as kind of a touchstone that shouldn't have been messed with. Some shots did work rather well, but more often than not I didn't think many did. The behind the scenes stuff is great though.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnC88xBPkkc I'm not sure if it's the exact version, but the vault edition sounds quite similar to this. Really? Never knew that. (Not having heard the "vault edition" of The Trees) This is a soundstage performance along with performances of Circumstances and La Villa Strangiato. If I recall correctly, those last two are on the bonus disc to R30
  14. I was going to watch this tonight, but my wife and son forced me to watch with them this afternoon instead. Only watching it once until I see it on the big screen. First impressions are I'm not sure I like the director's work in this case. Or maybe it's the editors work.....Lot's of great stuff, but the camera angle choices are a mixed bag. Definately THE tour though. Strings higher in the mix (a good thing) and it does a pretty good job of what it was like to be there. The set of course is to die for and most people in the crowd seem to realize this. Very moving show.
  15. is this the one?? http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag40/glennb21122/allcamerapictures715_zps76754911.jpg?749 For some reason, this is more rare than the regular pastel one. Not sure how much more rare.
  16. Finally decided it was time to get tickets.
  17. I would have been exceptionally pissed if I got there and these four songs were edited out. Just an FYI, sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else. More info up on the RIAB website regarding this Thursday's exclusive dvd song releases on that website. Great ! I was on the fence on this decision, Now I have slipped & racked my balls, OUCH ! Are they seriously cutting those songs?
  18. That first show sounds horrible but as a diehard Rush fan I can't bring myself to delete it from my computer. It's not great for sure, but I've heard much worse. I once recorded over a 1984 New Haven Connecticut show that was loud, distorted and bass heavy to the point where you could barely hear vocals and the rest of the instruments. That's the only show I've ever dumped.
  19. Ordered.....if only for the art and packaging and because it was THIS tour. For the record, I didn't want anything to do with bobbleheads and passed on those at every opportunity. This kind of thing gets decided on a case by case basis.
  20. 12 days if we're going to be exact about it. And his first show is out there also (but doesn't sound as good.)
  21. I loaded a bunch of Rush on my oldest daughter's iPod. The other day, I came into her room and she was jamming out to LaVilla. She said, "Dad, this song is so awesome!" That is awesome! My son is allowed to help himself as long as he puts everything back where he found it.
  22. Import only. Until Vapor Trails and beyond, Presto was the last album released in the US.
