  1. VH1 is the classiest channel on TV now. The "Celebreality" shows are pretty funny though.
  2. QUOTE (New World Man @ Nov 12 2007, 04:20 PM) Watched the first season but don't have Showtime anymore. Saw the first two episodes of season 2 on the internet but the site that had it got shut down so now I can't watch it anymore. http://www.watchtvsitcoms.com/tvshows.php
  3. Dexter and Weeds are the best shows on TV right now. Showtime rules.

  10. I remember this movie from when I was a kid. I didn't think much of it back then, but now I see how f*cked up it is watching these clips.
  11. This is my favorite film of all-time. My wife's too, which makes her rock even harder since every one else I've ever tried to watch it with thought it sucked. I treat that three disc Criterion box set like a baby...anyone who loves the movie needs to own it. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9c/Brazil_11.jpg I've got a pic from that same scene in your avatar on my myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/stormtron

  13. QUOTE (telegraphcreeklocal @ Oct 13 2007, 09:23 PM)QUOTE (The Notorious B.S.G. @ Aug 30 2004, 11:58 AM) My thoughts for casting (sorry about all the Jeff's, just a coincidence): Jeff Daniels as Lerxst - good combination of goofy and serious, would need to add a couple pounds Jeff Goldblum as Geddy - Semitic good looks, serious actor Jeff Bridges as Neil - intense actor, has played characters dealing with loss, see the excellent flick "Fearless" about a plane crash survivor who comes to feel invincible, and mocks the almighty, walking the "razor's edge". The movie also features the Most Gorgeous Woman on the Planet - Isabella Rossillini (sp). the guy from the X-files the lonegunmen looks just like Geddy Lee http://l.yimg.com/img.tv.yahoo.com/tv/us/img/site/21/74/0000002174_20060919153816.jpg Dye his hair black and it's the f***ing picture from Permanent Waves.
  14. I can't break it down either, but a few of my favorites Al Pacino Toshiro Mifune Bruce Campbell Christopher Walken Don Cheadle

  23. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Oct 4 2007, 02:45 PM) QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Oct 4 2007, 12:15 PM) I really need to go see this one while it's still in theaters... I also need to go rent more of Cronenberg's other films. Only ones I've seen are Scanners and A History of Violence... but Naked Lunch looks really, really awesome. Naked Lunch is so truly and wonerfully f*cked up. I so need to own this on dvd. Criterion has been very kind to Cronenberg. The Naked Lunch and Videodrome DVDs are amazing. The booklet that comes with Naked Lunch is worth the price alone.
