  1. I found a brand new pair of beautiful, perfectly fitting heels for zero money in our recycling corner for our personnel at work. Top notch, never worn, pristine black leather. Satin laces and a few small, heart-shaped punches, 2-inch heels. The shoes already proved to be a perfect choice when playing air bass: Malignant Narcissism, Circumstances, La Villa, Hemispheres. If you catch me walking in these shoes smile back at me, 'cause I'll be smiling at every step.
  2. A co-worker saved my forthcoming summer holiday, accepting to change his plans that he had scheduled for the same weeks. I now may be able to have two weeks off duty and travel home to see my parents for the first time since September. I've had a dreadfully tough eight months since having lost two people I've loved and trying to heal from past wounds at the same time + working like mad for my dreams (for years). My colleague really showed empathy in practice. I hope I can pay back some time.
  3. It will be a starry night, and the temperature might be around -1 to +2 Celsius.
  4. Richard III (1995), starring Ian McKellen.
  5. I fixed it for you.   Can't agree, but LOL.
  6. The success of (the) Rush (t-shirt) continues. One of my bosses said this morning: "Great shirt." That boss plays musical instruments and knows a great deal of music, and it made my day to see the appreciation for Rush. I know the appreciation is out there but it feels good to notice it in everyday life.
  7. Today I was wearing one of my new Rush t-shirts at work for the first time. A colleague passed me in the corridor and said "A cool t-shirt. Rush is a great band." I said "Yes, it's the best!" :rush:
  8. Maybe not binge watching but very unusual for me: in two days I watched the first season of All Creatures Great and Small (2020). 6 episodes + a Christmas special. Beautiful Yorkshire countryside, feelgood stories, sympathetic and nice-looking vets, farm animals. That's a perfect recipe for a country gal like me when watching football is not relaxing enough. I needed some more of that feelgood so I started watching the season 1 again the very next day I finished it the first time. I'm looking forward to the season 2. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/shows/all-creatures-great-and-small/#
  9. The blanket looks great! It is heavy, well-woven and beautiful. Meets all my expectations, and they were not low to begin with. Good to know, been thinking about buying one for my sister's birthday. If she's into Rush she'll love the blanket. :)
  10. Oh my Ged. That is an AWFUL dream. Aaaaaggghh. That would just be TORTURE. Indeed. Reminds me of the story of 2112. Resistance urgently needed, otherwise there's no hope for us humans. :rush: :rush: :rush: It DOES remind me of 2112. We must resist. Let's blast 2112 at whoever decided that simplification thing. Yes!!! :goodone: :rush: :bang bang:

  13. Besides the fact that it's Easter, I've enjoyed the arrival of my order from the Rush Backstage (arrived yesterday). The t-shirts fit and look good. Can't wait unfolding the Rush blanket! Other nice stuff in the cardboard box as well.
  14. A couple of nights ago i had a dream that a command was given that every Rush song must be simplified. Song lenghts must be less than six minutes, and the song structures must be made simple and easy for everyone to understand. This command had arrived in the inbox of my work e-mail, and it was given by some major authority of the planet Earth. I was lucky to wake up. Edit: Earlier that evening I watched the Time Machine Live in Cleveland show that featured The Spirit of Radio. Maybe this echoed in my mind when sleeping. We've had a plenty of covid-19-related restrictions and orders at work week after week within a year. Maybe I'm starting to see new threats coming up in the future...
  15. It's time to celebrate! :cheerleader: :yay:  Congrats to your son and your family!
  16. Man, that's horrible. I can't even imagine the feelings of his loved ones in this loss. :(
  17. -.-- -.-- --.. ;) Geddy's bassline replaces the need for lyrics in this song.
  18. Reading the entire Pants thread. http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/topic/40182-the-rush-pants-game/page__hl__pants&do=findComment&comment=1342311 :LMAO: :LMAO:
  19. Eating. Maybe not the biggest moment of the day but a nice occasion anyhow.
  20. I'll keep my fingers crossed, hope you'll find a decent job with nice, encouraging people around you. :) It was the colleagues that made my day today (again) with their supportive ways and their crazy, dark humour (mine might be essentially darker, though, so I dare not make jokes at work too often ;) ). I have a dream job, and I'm thankful for that. Not making big money but what we do is meaningful to many people.
  21. :( :( :( :rage: :rage: :rage: This kind of cruelty makes me very sad, disgusted and angry.
  22. - 2 'C (28,4 'F), north wind 9 m/s. The clouds are moving fast, but in between the clouds there's a bright March sunlight. A thin layer of fresh, new snow crested into small dunes.
