Hi, I'm Geddylennon. I am from Iowa, am in my late 20s, and am going to college for my bachelors in social work. I have a passion for working with those living with mental illness. As the ambassadress of 2112, it is my duty to comment here :P. 2112 was truly my introduction to Rush. The album was powerful enough to grab me mentally and emotionally on my first few listens. It has brought me to tears a few times. Every time I give 2112 a resting period, the comeback is hard and very riveting each time. Thank you 2112 for being my gateway drug to the heroin that is Rush.

Well, the good thing about all of the albums is their unifying factor of Rush music. As 2112 says, "listen to my music, hear what it can do. There's something here that's as strong as life, I know that it will reach you." (wow, I should probably stop milking this :D.)

As the co-ambassadress of 2112 I must make an appearance for my call of duty and to uphold the serious oath I took (yeah, that's right pigeons, oath!). Rush should play both side 1 AND 2 of 2112 because we, their loyal fans, deserve to see just how far Geritol can take them! An endurance test of the ages if you will. There, oath upheld ;).

You may find yourself having to defend side 2...that doesn't get as much love...even though it's great I've heard that said a couple of times on different threads. It's not something I really get. Every time I listen to 2112, not a single song gets skipped. They are all simply amazing.

I feel like I have lax ambassadorial duties when it comes to defending the honor of 2112, lol. Doesn't seem like an album people around here can find much to b*tch about. (Or maybe my attention is the thing that is lax :P.)

Damn, this is really tough for such a masterpiece of an album. I had to cast my vote for NS though because of its overall mastery level of sheer amazing-ness. Love the entire record though, and Different Strings and SOR are close 2nds.

This is a neat idea! Never have thought of doing anything like it. I wonder if the United Center in Chicago would forward stuff to the boys...anyone know if this venue does this or how I can find out?
