  1. I DVR the show because it's on too late for me, just got around to watching last night, but I saw a headline on the interwebs about a character committing suicide (and a picture of Pete) and I was part "spoiled" and part wondering who it was. I thought Pete was an obvious choice for suicide victim, so I started to think it would be either Layne or Roger. Sure enough... Knowing this upfront and Don saying to Layne "Take the weekend to figure out an elegant exit" when he fired Layne - made me wince. The fact the Jaguar wouldn't start WAS funny (even Jared Harris, the actor who plays Layne, said he laughed when reading that part of the script) I love the Sally stories (and as a woman, I guess I wasn't that freaked out by the bathroom scene at the museum - but I can see how some men are!) The girl who plays Sally is SO good, she really captured that freak-out moment of becoming a woman, and running straight for her mother (not Megan) despite their differences. So personally, I'm still interested in her coming-of-age tales. The feud between Betty and Megan is a little trite for me. it's expected and only adds to the fact Betty is still childish and bratty herself.
  2. I listened to the clips but I can't judge based on them. Gonna wait for next Tuesday, not searching for a leak either.
  3. Glad I don't have it yet. If I did, i doubt I would tell anyone because I wouldn't have any ideaHOW to upload it for people I don't need an entire community angry at me for lack of technology and associated intelligence.
  4. QUOTE (theredtamasrule @ May 28 2012, 10:48 AM) What an episode last night, it'll end up a classic I think. Pete Campbell is a slimeball to say the least...and Peggy...wow! Didn't see it coming. Good for Peggy - no amount of money thrown at her (literally and otherwise) would keep her at SCDP - but I hope she is kept in the story lines!! I used to think Pete was a sad troubled man - and still do - but my empathy for him went out the door this time. The fact that Joan did what she did though did surprise me a bit.. Favorite part of the episode? Seeing the scene of Don at Joan's apartment twice - before the pitch at Jaguar, and during. It was surreal and so carefully crafted.
  5. When I have resold tickets, they have been at face value, or less just to get rid of it. Probably because my intention buying the ticket in the first place was to use it, but chose to resell due to other circumstances (could not make show, purchased better ticket at later date).
  6. QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Apr 24 2012, 09:28 PM) I've heard that there were hints that a main character will die this season. I feel we should have a dead pool going here. I'll put my money on Pete. He's getting more and more depressed and always speaks of this gun he has. hmmm interesting point. He is certainly self-destructive in his pre-occupation with being "king" of his castle.
  7. So the LSD episode. Whoa. Watching the Roger/Jane scene was so wild, I felt like they did almost! So sad when they woke in the morning and Jane had no recollection of what she said. I'm also glad when don chased Megan around the apartment it didn't turn into some s&m scene like last time. If those apartment walls could talk...
  8. QUOTE (Alph Seeker @ Apr 23 2012, 12:12 PM) ZZ is essentially row 26, correct? yes
  9. The Buffalo pre-sale was great! Scored 8th row on Alex's side! MUCH better than the NH tix. Just glad to be going to any shows at all - love the boys, love the fans.
  10. QUOTE (Bastille Night @ Apr 23 2012, 11:36 AM) Yep, I got three tix in fourth row for opening night. Threw back about 25 times, then these ones popped up at about 12:15. Note to people: RECAPTCHA didn't work for me when I was using Firefox. I lost a few precious minutes messing around, then switched over to Internet Explorer. Not sure if this was just my machine, but you might want to use IE for Music Today sales. FF did not work for me at first but I refreshed the page and it did. Safari worked fine on the iPad too but I didn't buy from that browser..
  11. QUOTE (driventotheedge @ Apr 23 2012, 10:14 AM) QUOTE (iglehart @ Apr 23 2012, 06:57 AM) ok, so how do I log into that one? I don't see any login. Last time I logged in ahead of time to get tickets faster. So did I and the first pre-sale's start in 45 mins. as I type this and still no login available. Perhaps you'll be asked to login after you choose your tix? Once the first one happens would someone who purchases tix this morning PLEASE report back on this thread and let us know how this went down? Thanks in advance..... I think the "ticket info" links will change to something like "find tickets" to which you will get thrown some seats - you choose to keep or not. Once you choose, then you login to purchase. IIRC that is what happened last time around.
  12. QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Apr 19 2012, 08:34 PM) QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Apr 19 2012, 09:17 PM) QUOTE (Chrysalii @ Apr 19 2012, 08:08 PM) $91, $66, and $46.50 at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo according to the First Niagara Center website. That's less than I thought it would be. That's less than I thought it would be to. I figured the highest priced seats would be $100 or a little more before the fees but $91 for the best seats isn't too bad at all. Thats very reasonable. I can deal with that. $120 is about my limit in terms of when I start to say "with!!!!"
  13. It's a crap shoot really. I've heard and experienced good seats via pre sales. I've heard bad stories too. Best way to get the BEST tickets? Brokers -which is not cool and pricey pricey pricey.
  14. QUOTE (myturn2drive @ Apr 19 2012, 08:16 AM) QUOTE (iluvgeddy05 @ Apr 19 2012, 09:00 AM) Whoever responds here: http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?showtopic=73081 Sorry...didn't see that thread... haha no problem. One of our moderators/admin's made threads up above for each show to arrange meetups and such.

  16. QUOTE (Unobtrusive Companion @ Apr 19 2012, 07:53 AM) It can't be... there's another three songs after it on the album good one!
  17. QUOTE (limbo @ Apr 19 2012, 07:51 AM) after watching the video of the song on the rush web site it seems like maybe. I'm so against thinking about the farewell ideas, especially since Rush themselves have shot down that idea throughout their careers. That said, I can't help but admit I had that twinge of thought with the video/lyrics.
  18. QUOTE (Kelly D @ Apr 19 2012, 07:40 AM) QUOTE (iluvgeddy05 @ Apr 19 2012, 07:12 AM) *best* seat price for Manchester is $107 (including fees supposedly) - per the live nation site. EDIT: I'm shooting for first 3 blocks up front OR the ones on the lower bowl/side. I'm too short to be on the floor - but all the way in the back! The curse of the tiny women! I wore boots that were only slightly uncomfortable to the Cleveland show so I'd at least have SOME height to play with. I'm 5'5" but still. . . $107 for a floor ticket seems like a dream! How plausible is it?! $107 is not bad - SPAC is always edging on $130... I used to have what I called "concert shoes". They were platform sandals (flat bed, not heel) that had a squishy inside so they felt SO comfortable and added a couple inches - plus, they were cute. I wore them to so many shows they completely broke down and I believe I got rid of them. They were beyond repairable.
  19. Weren't there other issues with the VIP packages though? The tickets came late? Other hangups? Please share - I am considering this but damn money is tight...
  20. QUOTE (micgtr71 @ Apr 19 2012, 04:35 AM) Buffalo or Boston...or both? I'm doing Buffalo but buying tickets later. Wish they picked Albany and/or Syracuse - or even Rochester!
  21. For a buck and higher quality to hold me over until June, yes.
  22. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Apr 18 2012, 01:33 PM) 174 people in ONE thread! Yes and I feel the time is to get out since 1. the bickering is getting more and more and 2. I can't keep up with all the pages
  23. My reaction to this is way stronger and positive than that compared to Caravan and BU2B - I can certainly say that.
