I've already seen both original A and B setlists. To get Limelight would be the icing on the cake!

The Costco brand of pods for laundry are good, too. Don't put one in your mouf, though. Cotsco anything is good stuff! I don't like Costco. Mind you, I don't have any problem with any of their products, I just don't like the myth that you really save money there. I generally do my best to find where to do the most economical food shopping; stores like Grocery Outlet, Winco, Trader Joe's, Food4Less (though admittedly their stores are kind of grungy and I rarely ever go in there), etc. When you really compare prices at Costco, they're actually not that great. There's the illusion of saving a lot of money by buying in bulk, but if you really do the math, it's almost always more expensive than what you can get at less expensive supermarkets. Costco often has decent prices on other non-food items, but generally it's more expensive items AND a $50 a year fee. That said, their hot dogs/sausage/pizza is a killer deal. On a similar note, another thing that bugs me is tuna fish - for the most part tuna is available in two sizes; the regular can, and a somewhat bigger can. People often buy the bigger can thinking they're getting a better deal, but most of the time (and it sometimes happens with other products than tuna), you're spending more per ounce buying the bigger cans than the smaller ones. Always look for the price per oz. on the price for stores that list this. Otherwise, take the time to do a little math in your head (or I guess bring a calculator with you if you can't), and you can really save a lot of money on food shopping. Also when food shopping, try to remember the prices things cost and keep a close watch at the register to make sure things ring up correctly. I generally save probably $50 a year (or more) by watching this and then asking when the price doesn't match what I remember it is - usually it's because their register/computer has it wrong or it was mislabeled where the product was - either way you can then decide not to buy it or have them give you the correct price. We save a lot of money by doing all of our meat/produce/dairy shopping at locally owned grocery markets - we try to avoid big corporate chains. We used to do all of our shopping at Walmart...their produce and meat suck. The only things we buy at Walmart now, grocery-wise, are toiletries, paper goods and frozen foods, as they are always cheaper than traditional grocery stores. Weekly we will come out of our local mom-and-pop store with an overflowing cart for not much more than $100...many of the items from the chain grocery stores are more than $1.00 in price difference...example of Land 'O Lakes American cheese at the deli...chain is $7.99 a pound, we get it for $4.49 a pound at the mom-and-pop...for the SAME stuff. That's savings I just can't ignore. More than $3 cheaper per pound on fresh meat and poultry. Shop around. We save probably $150 a month now.

Mr. Improv--Neil Peart
Amy Farrah Fowler replied to Tombstone Mountain's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I've been to two shows this tour and while I love a solid 8 minutes of Neil's solo, the parting out of his solo this tour was refreshing. I have to admit, the first solo, coming within he first half of the first set, I was hoping that wasn't it. LOL Gotta give the guy some slack...he's 60!! I'll bet breaking up that solo did wonders for him...the CA portion of the concert is no cakewalk. -

First two seasons are great...the third was losing momentum, IMO. This fourth...in the dustbin.

Agreed. And on that note I'm going to recommend something that I know people will make fun of but I don't care. http://blog.indabamusic.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/spam2.jpg BLTs made with fried Spam (AKA SLTs) are really good. Every summer I go through the ridicule of eating SLTs and I don't get it. A piece of fried Spam is no worse than a piece of fried smoked pig fat. We like Spam here. I make it with Kraft Mac & Cheese. My husband ate a lot of Spam in the service. I do prefer it grilled in a skillet than microwaved or eaten cold.

YES!!! It is with slight embarrassment that I'll admit I like Miracle Whip. Perhaps it's an acquired taste —my grandmother used to buy it all the time, so I ate it quite often as a kid. I still keep a small jar on hand for those occasions when I'm overcome with nostalgia. Even if they won't confess, I'm sure there are other people here who like MW. Despite my misplaced affection for the stuff, this is funny: http://theoatmeal.co...og/miracle_whip Warning: It's a slightly off-color cartoon, nothing indecent, but I thought it would be safer just to post the link rather than the cartoon itself. I love Miracle Whip!

I love my Chevy HHR. It's my third one and I'm sad they've stopped making them. I was just telling my husband yesterday that I thought the Sonic was cute and he's heard good things about them. As a photographer, I love all things Canon. My husband has a Samsung addiction, as well. Our microwave and fridge, as well as two of our televisions and many of our other electronics, are all Samsung.

I recommend this honey mustard recipe (if you like restaurant honey mustard dressing, this is what you want!): 1 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing!) 3 Tbsp honey 2 Tbsp yellow mustard Mix well and use on salads, with fries, on wings...whatever you like honey mustard with. I cannot find anything in the grocery stores that doesn't taste like sweetened dijon mustard. This is the real deal! And I concur on the Frank's Red Hot! I mix with ranch dressing to spice it up!

Arrested Development Season 4 (spoilers)
Amy Farrah Fowler replied to KenJennings's topic in Video Vertigo
I'm on episode 7, hoping it would get better, but nope. I turned it off once the blasphemy set in on GOB's episode. I'm all for joking around, but this just wasn't funny...none of it's really funny. Very disappointed. :( And for Michael? He was the smart one in the original run of the show...what the hell happened to him? His character is even more bizarre than the rest of them this season. -
Dude didn't make the list??? Dude! :P

Some of those people can sing, however, I don't believe they are true to their talent. They all sound the same...long runs of notes that clutter every melody they sing. If people were true to their talent on these lame shows, there would be more of a variety. Mainstream ANYTHING is very overrated. The majority of my favorite music I have to search far and wide to find others who I can talk to about it and enjoy it with. I'll always love RUSH but the popularity they've gained (while awesome for them) kind of bums me out because I kind of liked when they were all mine. LOL

Devastation my mind can't quite wrap around. I can't even begin to comprehend it. So sad.

Ah, my formative years were molded with "The Doors" and "The Soft Parade." He was a master of his craft and I was always amazed by his talent. Big loss to music today.

Alex Lifeson's guitar bits I like, what are yours?
Amy Farrah Fowler replied to tas7's topic in Rush
LOL I read it quickly and I'm thinking "Alex's bits??? Where??!??" :P -
Shame to have removed some of the best stuff on the album. LOL

You say you think all the songs sound alike on the album, yet you want their old producer to produce for them again? That's some mighty fine logic. Take the cotton out of your ears and have a listen again. The sound may improve for ya. Sorry, bro. Gotta concur with the majority and continue to love the hell out of this album. Better yet...read the book then listen again. Completely changed the way I listened to the album once I finished the book.
