  1. Unsurprisingly, 12 posts in this thread so far are from men, and 4 are from women. We're such neanderthals.
  2. Big, small, I love them all. But not fake. Just sayin'.
  3. I am embarrassed to say this but I have never seen concert footage of them ever. I saw them live 3 times and have many albums but that's it. I missed a lot from 85'- the 2000's.... I'm not a big concert DVD guy either. Can't say I've seen any of them. Although I've seen plenty of snippets on the YouTubez.
  4. Dio
  5. 17 shirts? Later in sixth grade (see story above) I bought an AC/DC tank top. I recall wearing it with my KISS belt buckle (I didn't know any better, both musically and sartorially). Thank the gods no incriminating photos exist of that wardrobe malfunction.
  6. I love all the Bon-era albums, but I have to give the nod to Highway to Hell only because it was my first. I still remember the first time I heard the title track: I was at the bus stop (age 11, somewhere near the end of '79) waiting to go to school, and a "bad kid" from my class lured me into his house nearby. Curiosity got the better of me, and I stepped inside. Three or four of my fellow sixth-graders were skipping school that day, and they were all smokin' weed, flippin' through stacks of Playboys, and crankin' Highway to Hell. I hadn't yet been corrupted, so I hightailed it out after a few minutes!
  7. Myself. In so many ways. :(
  8. Hey baby, would you like a "sample of my yield"?
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCjspyo-_aI Is there a better harmonica intro? :haz:
  10. $5 Long Island at the cantina down the road. Holy crap. I swear, Wendy the bartendress slips roofies in tbese. SO potent.
  11. Good thing it'll be February tomorrow! ;)
  12. I'd say Roots to Branches and J-Tull Dot Com are strong albums, worth toiling through Catfish for. I'll grant you RtB (to an extent), but Dot.Com...meh. And I'm not listening to the (otherwise excellent) Jethro Tull Christmas Album in January!

  14. I've been doing that lately with Jethro Tull, posting the album titles in the "Albums You've Listened To" thread. To commemorate my marathon I changed my avatar to a silhouette of Ian Anderson. The problem is I blazed through the epic '70s albums in like 2 days, but now I've been stuck on the '80s and '90s for two weeks or so. It's difficult to muster the motivation to listen to Rock Island or Catfish Rising...

  17. My grandson came home from school today and told me, "My friend Ben thinks you're a wizard!"
  18. And so a young Robert Van de Graaff had an epiphany: "If I just place my hands on this woman's 'spheres'..."
  19. And so it begins. Janie in six months: http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/jj488/catanstrophe/iphone-addict.jpg
