  1. As a really small kid Archie scared me. You'll never see anything like AITF again.
  2. My mom is gonna be 87 in a month and my dad is 81. I never thought I would get so nervous any time the phone rings now...but I do.
  3. Ferguson is really good, but he's no Fallon.
  4. Fallon is AWESOME!!! As AncientWays said, Leno is corny and unfunny (has he EVER been funny???!!!) Whereas Fallon is hugely talented and hilarious. I am so glad that bit stealing, never was funny, never is funny, never will be funny Leno is gone and hopefully for good this time. Don't let the door hit ya in the chin Leno you cuntt (to quote Ducky). Good riddance!!! It's a great day at the 11:30 time slot, finally somebody worth watching!!!
  5. http://sharetv.com/images/true_detective-show.jpg Any body watching this HBO show? It's only aired 4 episodes of 8 and man it's good!!! Harrelson is great and McConaughey is awesome....These two guys are absolutely GREAT on this show. McConaughey and Harrelson are two, just paired together, Louisianna State cops in the CID who are investigating the ritualistic murder of a prostitute in 1995. They have nothing in common and don't really like each other but this is no buddy, buddy cop show. It's dark and mysterious and each cop has his own skeletons in his closet which are slowly revealed throughout the episodes as they unravel what happened. But all of that is told in flashbacks as the show also takes place in 2012 where Harrelson and McConaughey have moved on in their lives and not spoken since 2002 but are being questioned by other Louisianna cops as a murder similar to the one they worked on in '95 has occurred...Did either of them have anything to do with it? Don't know yet. The show so far hasn't been terribly remarkable in it's originality, but it's no rehashing of any other cop story either, and it's not action packed, no car chases or gun fights or bar room brawls so far, just a lot of drama, great story telling, good mystery and top notch performances by both Harrelson and McConaughey...These guys are really great in this show. If you get the chance by all means check this show out!!! Here's a link to the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXwCoNwBSkQ
  6. But then we'd never hear the end of "Where's Carl"?
  7. Still my favourite! She's a beauty! :)
  8. I'm going to have to call complete BS here in regards to your self proclaimed nerdliness. A true nerd would never forsake his nerdocity for something as nonsensical as chasing tail. ;)
  9. For a second I thought I might have posted this except for the robotics and the video games you played.
  10. Not being a bass player I have no hopes for a new GL model.
  11. Yes...He was a member of Florida A & M Rattlers drum corps.
  12. I've always liked Hand Over Fist and many of the songs on Presto. I thought Neil wrote some of his most creative and ingenious lyrics then. Not necessarily his best work but certainly unique. Anagram for example is really skillfully written. The music though is so thin and airy it's really Rush light. I've heard Geddy refer to this period as almost, or more like jazz. Presto has a few hidden gems on it as mentioned in other post, Available Light, Hand Over Fist, Anagram, Red Tide ,and Chain Lightning (except for that God awful guitar solo) for instance...But it also has Superconductor..an all time dud.
  13. Best...Hard to say. Van Halen in 1984, what a great show, production and all around event. Smashing Pumpkins on one of the numerous times I saw them on The Infinite Sadness tour, just an awesome show. They really treated the crowds well. GWAR....Absolute chaotic insanity. Rush PoW tour. Height of RUSH geekness, front row, Marillion opened. STP always put on a great show. Nirvana...Got to see Nirvana. Neil Diamond...Tons of hits and worked the stage like a pro. Worst...Hard to say. Backstreet Boys...F'n sucked. Kiss in '86...F'n sucked. Queensryche with Dream Theater in something like 2000...F'n sucked. Madonna in '01...F'n sucked Tool in '94...F'n sucked Just for starters I guess.
  14. Could put Tool up there as worst as well. '94 or so (whichever tour it was) in a club in Orlando and just like what you said, I guess Maynard wasn't too into the show or us as a crowd. They just sort of slushed through the first few songs and Maynard seemed to be getting pissed at something...us it would seem...anyway he took off all of his cloths every last scrap and stood up on stage stark naked, tucked his pecker and balls between his legs (kinda like the dude in Silence of the Lambs) and stood on stage in a crucified Jesus pose and then he walked off stage never to return....Now in hindsight that is kinda cool to have seen as I'm not too sure many others can say they saw that, but I payed to see a show and although it was unique, it wasn't worth the cash I payed.
  15. Seen nsync too great show...backstreet boys might be the worst for me though...couldn't even stay for the whole but I'm more surprised I allowed myself to go in in the first place.
  16. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z282/janeco_2007/waving-1.gif can ya see me waving at ya?
