  1. QUOTE (presto123 @ Sep 7 2012, 07:28 PM) I was on the fence about buying tickets this time. I may HAVE to now. Wow DOITDOITDOITDOIT!!!!
  2. Bravado! First "meh" song for me, but it's still alright!
  3. This is a joke right guys? IT HAS TO BE. This setlist is flawless!!!!!
  4. ANALOG KID! Can this set get any better? It's incredible...
  5. QUOTE (xx2112xx @ Sep 7 2012, 07:16 PM) Territories... No seriously...when do we find out our legs are getting pulled? This is exactly what I'm thinking. It ALMOST seems too good to be true...no duds like Stick It Out or Workin' Them Angels yet!
  6. TERRITORIES. I thought this tour was supposed to honor Signals' anniversary, not PW! NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING.
  7. THE BODY ELECTRIC?! WHAAAAAAT? OMFG. This set must be awful for people who hate GUP through HYF.
  8. Calling it now: Jacob's Ladder and Far Cry are closing the first set.
  9. QUOTE (xx2112xx @ Sep 7 2012, 07:00 PM) Force 10. I'd rather have another track from Hold Your Fire, but I'll take it. Hell, I'll take Force Ten...TEN TIMES over the rumored (And now HOAX) Second Nature.
  10. QUOTE (RUDT @ Sep 7 2012, 06:59 PM) i wish they could play at a faster pace, so we can what isknow the next song Force 10!! Synth-heavy set! LOVE IT!
  11. Territories AND Big Money? Looks like that thread WAS a hoax. There is no way they're also playing Manhattan Project and Marathon. PHEW. AMAZING start!
  12. Sorry I'm late folks!! HOLY OMFG WHOA WHAT JACOB'S LADDER? TERRITORIES?! MY BODY CANNOT HANDLE IT ALL. Territories is the LAST PW song I would have expected to be played! AND JACOB'S LADDER HOLY CRAP THEY FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK. And I CALLED Subdivisions as an opener!!
  13. QUOTE (Gilbertk @ Sep 7 2012, 01:08 PM) I listened to the new album for 2 weeks, OD'd on Rush and then barely listened to them at all. Now that opening day is here... I'm back to non-stop Rush! How does it work for everyone else? Do you binge on Rush from tour announcement until the show(s)? Do you listen to Rush less before the show? Or does nothing change at all? I've been listening to Rush nearly exclusively for the past couple of weeks.
  14. QUOTE (farcryoverspilledmilk @ Sep 7 2012, 01:44 PM)You obviously don't read well. That post was ripped from another thread about guess the set list game. That post had nothing to do with what was posted yesterday. Did the planets somehow align for you to have guessed Losing It/Manhattan Project/Marathon/Nobody's Hero were on the setlist a couple days before you actually found out from some journalist?
  15. QUOTE (drbirdsong @ Sep 7 2012, 01:01 PM) THis is the leaked list Intro Prelude - Hemispheres The Big Money Limelight Subdivisions The Pass Time Stand Still Caravan BU2B Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies Halo Effect Seven Cities of Gold Intermission The Wreckers Headlong Fight BU2B2 Wish Then Well The Garden Losing It Manhattan Project Marathon Nobody's Hero Where's My Thing Drum Solo Alex Solo The Trees Xanadu Jacobs Ladder Encore Malignant Narcissism The Spirit of Radio Tom Sawyer 2112 Overature/Temples/Grand Finale Impossible. That would make the shows on this tour among the lengthiest in their career. Since the boys are pushing 60, this is unlikely. Slash off about 7 songs and its more plausible. It'd be cool, but like someone else said in another thread, the show would end around midnight with all that material.
  16. QUOTE (dtpoet @ Sep 7 2012, 12:37 PM) Thanks Todem. This was incredibly fun over the past several weeks. Can't wait to see how this plays out!
  17. Is it okay if I'm late by 20 minutes? If not, just use the one I posted a few pages back I guess. Set I: Subdivisions Far Cry Dreamline The Analog Kid Caravan BU2B Mission* Manhattan Project* Losing It* Jacob's Ladder* Limelight Set II: The Spirit of Radio* Clockwork Angels* The Anarchist* Carnies The Wreckers* Headlong Flight->Drum solo->Headlong Flight->BU2B2* The Garden* YYZ A Farewell to Kings Xanadu* Encore: 2112 (Overture/The Temples of Syrinx/Grand Finale) La Villa Strangiato Tom Sawyer * = strings
  18. QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Sep 7 2012, 07:38 AM) The complaining happens with every band when it comes to their setlist no matter how good it is. Yet when you see Rush live you don't hear any bitching or booing in the audience when they play certain songs a lot of people seem to be against, strange isn't it? You think that would be the time for all of you setlist bashers to band together and let Rush know how much you disapprove of some of their selections. That won't happen though because you would be expressing yourself out in public where people can see and hear you instead of safely and anonymously at your computer. People were very restless during Workin' Them Angels on the TMT. Pretty sure I heard a couple groans, maybe the crowd I surrounded myself with just happened to be insatiable.
  19. QUOTE (hermy @ Sep 7 2012, 07:24 AM) Neil's trailer is open. Must be off on a morning ride. Beautiful day here in Manchester! Go find him!!
  20. Kid Gloves The Body Electric Where's My Thing? (Part IV, "Gangster of Boats" Trilogy) Scars Vapor Trail Freeze (Part IV of "Fear") Turn the Page Totem Double Agent Territories All are fantastic songs...
  21. QUOTE (OGr8imL84AD8inF8sBlackSedan @ Sep 7 2012, 06:48 AM) Love the list so far.
  22. It's going to be played at every single show until the day they retire. Get over it.

QUOTE (farcryoverspilledmilk @ Sep 6 2012, 12:39 PM)If they stick to the rumored 3 hours and 10 mins of music they have planned then there is plenty of time for this. Intro Prelude - Hemispheres The Big Money Limelight Subdivisions The Pass Time Stand Still Caravan BU2B Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies Halo Effect Seven Cities of Gold Intermission The Wreckers Headlong Flight BU2B2 Wish Them Well The Garden Losing It Manhattan Project Marathon Nobody's Hero Where's My Thing? Drum Solo Alex Solo The Trees Xanadu Jacobs Ladder Encore Malignant Narcissism The Spirit of Radio Tom Sawyer 2112 Overture/Temples/Grand Finale Anyone else think it's just a little bit of a coincidence that farcryoverspilledmilk happened to guess four of the songs from the supposed "confirmed" songs list in his setlist prediction from a couple days ago? They all follow each other too... Guessing TSoR or TS isn't anything unusual but the fact that he guessed four of the seven songs he happened to learn were on the setlist does raise some questions over the validity of this thread. nice work. that confirms it's a hoax. end of thread. Well we'll know tomarrow night if it's a hoax. That setlist is fiction. I'm kinda glad it's fiction. The thought of Nobody's Hero and Second Nature almost makes me upset. There's sooo many better songs they could play Holy Crap! Jacob's Ladder IS in that set list!!! Why aren't people going bonkers over that possibility? Instead, everyone wants to piss and moan about Nobody's Hero, Second Nature, Losing It, Marathon, or the Manhattan Project. Or they are jumping for joy over them. But Jacob's Ladder? Come on! That is something to be excited for! I'll take that set list as is if it really includes Jacob's Ladder. Hold your horses, that setlist is from a post in another thread from a few days ago. All I'm trying to point out is that it's pretty peculiar that farcryoverspilledmilk would PREDICT that Losing It, Marathon, Manhattan Project, Nobody's Hero would be on the setlist only to learn that they really ARE on it a couple days later. It's also too much of a coincidence that in his setlist prediction they're played consecutively. Whatever the case, if Jacob's Ladder was in the setlist dontcha think it would have been mentioned in the original post? Oh I know it's a bullshit set list. But it has Jacob's Ladder! I KNOW.
