  1. It does. I can't wait to buy a few albums again. That will be exciting. It won't be like the old days riffling through the bins at the record store but it will still be cool when Amazon delivers them.... :) You should treat yourself a visit to a record store. The charm of browsing through the records, finding a gem, talking with likeminded and generally the vibe. Sometimes holding an old record thinking about the journey it's been on is great. Or better yet try your local thrift stores. Pickin's can be slim and sometimes it's matter of timing, being the first one there when records hit the shelf. Even though "they" say vinyl is making a come back not everyone has caught on. Most places LPs are a buck or two, sometimes even less. I paid .50¢ for copy of Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Soul to Soul" that's near mint!
  2. They're probably all the same thing. Different numbers and terminology for different countries?
  3. Well, it's hard to know exactly what you're getting from this site. Two of the listings have the same catalog number.

    Driving with Rush

I'm not quite 60 (55 in a couple months), but I blast Rush in my truck all the time. Presto and RTB were playing most recently. As you get older embrace the idea of not giving a sh*t what other people think!

    Rush number 9?

I would kindly like to disagree. Go back and listen to there very early stuff, before they became the cliché over-indulgent "rock stars." Most of the first four albums are actually pretty good in '70s Folk/Rock category. After that? No so much.

    Rush number 9?

The Raconteurs is a Jack White project, semi-tolerable. I wonder if the people writing this list ever saw these bands live? The Raconteurs and Fleet Foxes were pretty decent live. LCD studio stuff isn't that enjoyable to listen to, but live they were a lot of fun!

    Rush number 9?

Yeah, real close. The first four albums are pretty good in the radio-friendly rock category. Too much filler for me say "perfect" tho.
  8. $9.90!!!!! Tax included! Those were the days! :7up: That's nothing. My first Rush concert, the 1977 show, was Max Webster, Starcastle, Styx, and Rush. Cost of ticket? $5.00!
  9. Been meaning to dig these out. Ticket at left is the concert I saw that was between ATWAS and AFTK, middle ticket is Moving Pictures tour and ticket at left is Signals tour. I seem to be missing my ticket stubs from Hemispheres, Power Windows and Hold Your Fire tours. I'll post a pic if I find them. I have tickets from more recent tours also if anyone is interested in seeing them too. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c252/notperfekt/earlyRushtiks_zpsae2b91ca.jpg
  10. Saw them in Minneapolis after ATWAS had come out, before A Farewell to Kings was released. They played Xanadu. Early 1977? Signals Tour, Denver. I'm pretty sure it was September 1982.
  11. Well...I like the verses but not the chorus.
  12. No way, no how, not ever, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! unless, of course, it was me
  13. I accidentally stopped on the show for a few seconds while changing stations. Threw up in my mouth a little.
  14. Quite possibly the best love song ever written! Curly, shall we put you on the list? I was talking about Wang Dang Sweet Poontang You let me down lol Sorry (not)

  17. Just picked up "Unsung Heroes" http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c252/notperfekt/dregsalbums_zps986a0542.jpg
  18. That's what I was gonna say! They didn't play it the first two times I saw them (because they hadn't written it yet).
  19. Not been in the front row or even sniffed it since back in the day when concerts were general admission.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNzohAW-aTM A much better use of the song.

    Any Max Webster fans?

Beyon the Moon on the album Mutiny Up My Sleeve
  22. Maybe it's their boobs? Or maybe hair extensions? :smoke: Or maybe they're completely fake and are really a bunch ladyboys!! :o Not what I was thinking at all. Might just be that the sound is a little too slick on the "live" videos and doesn't match with what they're doing with their instruments. Granted, that might not mean anything.
  23. Something isn't quite right here. Looks and sounds fake.
  24. Any show where you're sitting in front of some guy's girlfriend who doesn't want to be there.
