seeing as this was my first Rush concert, i made sure to o before we left the hotel room. also, i didn't go to the bathroom at all during the whole concert, not even intermission, i did buy water and my shirt though.

errrr. CFL double header this weekend is an annual club/dance music beach party festival-thing, and the guys from school are going. im not going because 1) too much money 2) i hate crowds 3) dance music is stupid and mindless. i'd much rather stay home and practice my bass, you know... a REAL instrument

Presto is a great song, but it's not my favourite. i wouldn't have been disappointed if they didn't play it. Since it was my first time seeing Rush live, i would have liked to hear Fly By Night, and so would have my Dad. oh well, next time.

The theory part of my post was related to my university class. we are learning various theory aspects of music, and i wanted to show a video that demonstrates how songs (YYZ) can incorporate these topics into them. thats pretty much it. and i agree with the part about writing songs without worrying too much about theory. no one needs another song with an A-F-G-C chord progression.
