  1. Both albums are sooo great but overall I'll go with 'SEBTP'. 'Dancing With The Moonlit Knight' 'Firth Of Fifth' 'The Battle Of Epping Forest' man those songs are brilliant. F#*k I forgot about: 'Watcher Of The Skies' 'Get'em Out By Friday' 'Supper's Ready' on 'Foxtrot'. This is so grueling!!!
  2. Can't vote - No Alex Lifeson on the list!!!
  3. Macca live is always a blast - I'm happy for you that you made it to see the Sir perform. I saw him many times on the 'Flowers In The Dirt' and the 'Off The Ground' Tours and I hope to see him, in the near future, with the actual band.
  4. There are not much songs from the Hogarth years that I like. Same with Fish's solo stuff. But I love the 'Raingods With Zippo's' album especially when Steven Wilson plays on, the 20+ minutes track, 'A Plague Of Ghosts'.
  5. Just read in a post the lines 'When I leave I don't know what I'm hoping to find and when I leave I don't know what I'm leaving behind' I can't get the song out of my head - The Analog Kid
  6. QUOTE (different strings @ Jul 18 2011, 01:00 PM) And when I leave I don't what I'm hoping to find And when I leave I don't know what I'm leaving behind.
  7. For this poll - In Absentia - definetely. I'm a big fan of the Maitland era PT. Without C.M. I think of 'The Incident' as their best album.
  8. QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Jul 18 2011, 07:09 AM) QUOTE (greyfriar @ Jul 17 2011, 10:54 PM) This is also a tough poll - overall I'll go with MKII. 'Burn' and 'Stormbringer' are great but I prefer Gillan. Hey Grey! You are an excellent addition to this Forum. Glad you tolerate my zany polls. I love writing tough polls. Some are easier than others. Being tougher makes you think harder! "Tougher Than Leather!" Love, RUN DMC Love most of your polls (except the mother of all apples to oranges poll - 'Stevie Wonder vs. The Beatles') Signed Earl Grey
  9. Sorry guys - Marillion without Derek William Dick is like a fish without water.
  10. ...image no religion - it's easy if you try...
  11. This is also a tough poll - overall I'll go with MKII. 'Burn' and 'Stormbringer' are great but I prefer Gillan.
  12. Loved the early U2 till Unforgetable Fire (saw them on this Tour).
  13. COS is totally rockin'!!! I love every single second of the album even 'I think I'm Going Bald'.
  14. This was a great Tour indeed. I didn't know much about the Internet at the time and therefore, the 3 hour format and the setlist was a big surprise, especially when Alex kept on playing after 'The Temples Of Syrinx' and it became clear they play the whole thing. Man, was I excited. That was my first show in the US of A, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and it was a new kind of experience - good times. Cheers Grey
  15. I've a 'Tortellini' that looks like the brain from Hemispheres. Anyone interested??
  16. QUOTE (LyndseyG @ Jul 14 2011, 06:27 PM) I can make out the Rush writing but what the heck is that other pictures supposed to be? Starman? I think it's the roadsign from S&A. Please bid with confidence!!!
  17. QUOTE (wilb1972 @ Jul 14 2011, 12:50 PM) QUOTE Yeah, I have thought that a DVD off that TFE tour (on DS) would be terrific... did they videotape any of those shows (just did not release)? I seem to remember reading somewhere that they did record some of those shows with the intention of releasing them but they had audio/video glitches of some kind, so the band shelved them. Wonder if the glitches could be fixed now and released? They filmed both nights of the Toronto T4E shows. I was there and I hope for a future release. PLEASE!!! Cheers
  18. My shirt arrived today - yeah - and how I imagined - it's feckin' stunning!!! I will wear it with pride. Thanks again to Nebbish and all involved. Cheers from Germany
  19. lying in the grass, unmoving staring at the sky
  20. I love the Uli years. 'Fly To The Rainbow', 'In Trance', Taken By Force' up to the incredible Tokio Live Album are the masterpieces of the band (just my opinion). I lost interest with the 'Blackout Album' which is the last one I can still listen to.
