  3. Is it a 2010's, or a 2020's anniversary then?
  4. The outfit screams: "Let's get a new drummer and tour the clubs!"
  5. Sorry about that. No need to apologize, the song is so great, it deserves two threads!
  6. In 1974 Philippe Petit walked on a wire between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. Check out the documentary Man On Wire! The story is so unbelievable, it's just crazy, literally uplifting and beautiful. Once you saw that movie you will never forget it. Great homage to New York and the Twin Towers! If you're afraid of heights this one is for you...
  7. Those four would have made a great band. You can't go wrong with Derek Pratt on drums! :smoke: Yes! I'm still wondering what he did to get thrown in with the Z's! Haha, great! I haven't noticed that at all. :ebert:

  9. Thanks for the reminder, Earl. I've heard their early stuff before, but haven't payed that much attention. Did you know that there's a German band with the same name... Check out Deflorator (1984)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNOsSyuBL60

  13. Done! The Beatles The Who Black Sabbath BÖC
  14. His honesty and integrity is what makes him a true hero to me. The new album is far from generic, Rod. Listen to it while you're running and it will overtake you! LOL.
  15. Thank you my brother. I just bought the limited Japan pressing with the T shirt. Dude! I still have your cd. My daughter and I signed the cd insert but Hunter is AWOL right now with his girlfriend. It's why I haven't shipped it yet. Ugh! Love you! No worries, Earl, take the time! I'm ready whenever you're ready! More important, check out the new Schenker, there's something cooking there.
  16. Zebra mastermind Randy Jackson released a brilliant solo album in 1991! Check it out folks! A perfect blend of eighties AOR and early nineties prog. The cover isn't bad either... ;-)
  17. Since the thread title is already there, I'll just bump this into 2019. The Michael Schenker Fest just released their second album Revelation. All four singers were aboard again, plus they got a great support by Ronnie Romero (current Rainbow singer). Next surprise that really caught my interest, was that according to Michael, Simon Phillips is playing drums, on ten out of the thirteen tracks! Nothing against Bodo, but good choice there! On this album, Michael shows that he still has chunky riffs and emotional solos in him and all of the songs are... all killer, no filler!
  18. I agree. Better than Michael Schenker. Makes me wonder what Eddie is doing these days! Hm? Check out Schenker's new album, it is a killer! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TwYBJyM_AU
  19. Deep Purple Thin Lizzy Uriah Heep Nazareth Rainbow From the list, AC/DC!
  20. at the moment... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TXDXG-IGP0
  21. Man...seeing that pic really makes it burn that I passed on attending. Why man why did you pass? 8+ hour drive, and I had seen them twice No excuse! I drove from north Georgia to Toronto, then on to Montreal to see them! Besides, seeing them at every stop still wouldn't have been enough! That's the spirit, man! Would love to hear more stories from that trip... R40 was an unbelievable experience for me. I flew in 9,297(google)km from Frankfurt to LA. I had no ticket when I first booked this flight, and somehow strangely a "TRF Angel" appeared. Right out of that nowhere I ended up somewhere, in Inglewood... Last show... 3rd row... Geddy's side!! I still can smell The Forum!!! :smoke: The greatest and most important Rock'n'Roll trip in my life! :rush: Thanks for the ticket, Gina!!!
