Finished Kanan Ominbus tonight. Was a quick fun read, learned some new things about him as an apprentice and a brief glimpse of his Master Depa Billaba. His time on the planet Kaller (and his relationships with several inhabitants) was central to the path his life followed. Not a linear story, jumps back and forth with flashbacks and some dream sequences. Not something I would buy since not really a graphic novel person, checked it out from the library.

It's in the air obviously, I heard he got some flak for sitting Bedard out late in games.

What am I missing here?

Avs woke up and started playing like the team from last year, great comeback in 3rd period 6-5 against the Flames.

I just found this a couple of nights ago and listened to it. Bob is a big Rush fan so I was hoping he would do a take on My Effin' Life and he's friends with Donna Halper, the lady who introduced Cleveland to Rush. It was a good listen with thoughtful discussions on her relationship with Geddy, how she got to be on stage with him and concerns about anti-Semitism. The second story on the blog describes her experience with Geddy in Cleveland. It's a shorter read than listening to the podcast if you want a condensed version.

Finished the Way of the Bear, really good. Now for a change of pace, going to read Kanan Ominbus. I have been re-watching Star Wars Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. This graphic novel gives the back story of Kanan and how he came to be with the Rebels. I don't usually go for graphic novels but this just seemed like a fun read so here I go

May be trivial but got a gift card with $100 on it to finally work. Had tried to use it a few weeks ago but the register wouldn't take it. The guy at the store said it's probably been scanned and emptied. Got online and registered it and the funds were still there. Just in time for Christmas

I remember seeing clips of Neil on Bill's show and he was very rude to him, but that's his style. He has just morphed into old man yelling at the sky now, he's been unwatchable for 4 years now, IMHO. I have to say I don't listen to much radio anymore, podcasts have taken up that space for me.

I love audio books, some series are really better in audio (for me) with the right narrator. I use them to make mundane chores go by faster and it has been a lot of fun over the years, I started listening from cassettes checked out from the library . Audio doesn't always work as well as print, especially in complicated plots but I am glad I have had them to listen to. Some recently I bought just because the author was reading them (mostly non-fiction) like Geddy.

Went Sunday and had a ball. Laughing so hard I was crying before the opening credits were over Even though I have seen it so many times, I can't help but laugh. My sister and nephew came along as well..Even had a guy show up in a Tim the enchanter outfit
