New Album, Tour Details Emerge--The Yukon Blade Grinder

Recommended Posts

I'd do almost anything for a bottle of Thunderbird properly chilled as well.

You haven't lived until you've tasted the rancid stuff. :scared:

Probably wouldn't live afterwards.

Sure you will. I'm still around to talk about my Thunderbird experience. I can even tell you where I bought it. There was a little liquor store on 31st Street which was (and still is...I hope) up the street from MSG. It was in the seventies and I forget who I was on my way to see, but stopped in and picked up a bottle of TB for fifty cents.

Yes.

Fifty cents.

That alone should give you a good indication what it tasted like.

When we were staying at the Huguenot Inn during our epic YBG escapade, the maid told me Geddy loves the stuff. ;) ;)

We had maid service at that dump? http://www.palyne.com/talk/Smileys/palyne/scratchhead.gif

I must have been too engrossed in my pasta crafts to notice... at that point I'd lost my sanity.

Great interview! Although I can't imagine Little Blue Pills with the wives on there. I think it sounds much better as is. (I wonder if they got the idea from that Victor song with Alex's wife on it?)

TM- Good article! The way it's written it seems legit.

What do you mean "seems" legit? This really happened dude.

I don't know what you're talking about, but these are very real events.

:madra:

Don't you remember that is the place that had the room that had the bed that Geddy slept in????

And it wasn't a dump either. I still have one of their lovely towels that has Property Of The Huguenot Inn - Do Not Remove From Premises Under Penalty of Law! emblazoned across it!

Sooo funny, Tombstone! I was sitting here laughing out loud and my husband was refighting WWII with the Military channel and thinking I was the strange one :P I want to listen to the Moist cuts made with the banana mike while drinking wine aged in a bag!

Actually, you had me at Rocky Mountain Oysters- I laughed so hard I spit out my Pepsi! We used to live a few miles away from the Rocky Mtn. Oyster capital of Colorado and were known to go there from time to time- I wish I had had Rush's secret sauce back then! I never was a big fan . . . . and probably can never look at them again without thinking "Wenner Rounds!" :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy:

How much is the subscription to the YBG???

It's free Rod. You don't pay for it. You can hit the "like" button. That's like flipping coins in the street performers hat

It's free, but if he slips the YBG night clerk, Finley Fergle, a bottle of Thunderbird wine he'll get the collector's editions via Priority Mail.

You should see what he'll do for a bag of skittles
