She was caught lip-synching in England and was booed off stage to the point where she ran off crying. Anyone who sells 10 plus million of a debut album in one year is automatically in line for a fall(Hootie, Alanis, Boston, Guns and Roses(hate to say it) are examples). Her declining US sales from 14 mil on debut to 10 mil on album after that to 4 mil on following album to 2 mil on the one after that to 1 mil on a best of(Elton John, The Beatles, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd each released best of packages in recent years that sold huge) to 14,000 copies on a new remix album(J-Lo's 2002 remix album and Madonna's first remix album You Can Dance even sold a million copies) is proof that her music career is OVER(how I know the sales was that I worked in a record store for over 5 years and had to read Billboard on a daily basis cos my ex-colleagues were musically illiterate and/or quit)! Overexposure, childish stunts, breaking up marriages/relationships, driving with babies in lap, her abusive attitude towards fans are all tell-tale signs that B*tchney's music career is over. Also, trying to be Madonna Mach 2 isn't helping! B*tchney, do us a favor and get mental help, you are SICK!

Anyway, staying on topic, I agree with everything you said in that post. We have the exact same musical "views". I also think, as you do, that these bimbos have ruined music. Pink Floyd and also happen to be my 2 favorite bands.

i just read alot of this stuff , i just want to make one point . christina aguilera is killing her own career by going places she need not go. she is not a good singer , shes a great singer , who ever has guided her career is a fool because all her skanky nonsense has over shadowed the fact that she is one of the best female vocalists in music .

It's all visual. I gotta believe most males get sucked into this froo froo by the scantilly dressed females shakin' it. Todays search for talent is a package and the ability to market such package. If you want a sincere opinion regarding this subject tick, open it up to females only. I think the ladie Rush fans may be a little more objective. Talent is but a side note. sorry if this sounds a little harsh but, I'm guessing most males could just as well watch pop videos with the mute button on.

sorry scheamer , i disagree , i can tell the difference between a pretty girl and one with talent , i have been singing for 20 years so i know what im hearing , britney and jessica cant sing , christina sure as hell can.

ill say it one last time , christina is one of the best female singers on the planet . does she make relevant music , no . is she a great singer , she cetainly is. i saw her sing jazz standards on some pbs show one night . this girl has the chops . its a shame she has chosen the path she has . jessica simpson on the other hand is terrible.

I agree. Unfortunately, based on their career choices - many true talents get labaled as crap. I don't own a single Christina record, but I think her vocal ability is stellar. And it's singers like her - when performing jazz standards or any other songs worth listening to - that would capture my attention anytime.

I'm no Simon Cowell, but... I saw her on their Newlyweds show singing live once and it sounded pretty impressive to me, but in any event, I'd let her hum the national anthem on me tallywhacker any day...
