It's definitely one of the best pieces of literature from the eighties. I don't know how they'll do it justice in a two-hour movie, but I gues we'll see. My brother-in-law was the one who talked me into reading it. He said: "I know you and I know your tastes, you'll love it." He was right. The comic was written by the same guy who wrote 'V For Vendetta' and 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'. Here's a link to read about it: 'Watchmen'. I never read Miller's comic, but usually the comics are much better than the movies. That's gonna be hard to pull off, as this movie was TOP NOTCH!!! R-rated, so we tried to sneak past with Ghost Rider tickets but someone was standing by the door checking everyone. Had to see Ghost Rider (only 20 mins of it---terrible) instead. It's been getting good reviews, mostly based on the cinematography and the fact there are no "big name, A-listers" in it. I might actually go see this one at the theatre......for a change.
