The guitar work on this record ia maybe the best i've heard on ANY AB album Tremonti is taking this album over. overshadowing Myles at times. Mick Myles already says he disregards Tremonti when he highly praises his work. I love My Champion. It's obviously meant to be a little corny, it's a joyous rocker! Twilight is great. But this surprised me...I was a little lukewarm to it based on the first two songs (great but neither hit me like I wanted them too). Both have even gone as far as to say Myles is the best player of them all. Myles dismissed the praise and said very humbly that whilst he is an extremely talented player, he learned the ropes as a session musician inspired by others, whilst Tremonti and Slash each developed their own amazing styles because they had a voice with their instrument. Besides, Myles is on top form vocally! No ego here. This album is tremendous and the entire band seems stoked about it! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
