The new album is just amazing. It took a second listen to get into the vibe (plus I had been listening to Queen all day). The stand out track, for me is the song, "Girl Loves Me"...just brilliant. Like we've said before...Bowie reinvents himself and still remains distinctly Bowie...just amazing!

Giving it another listen..."Dollar Days" is the most accessible of the tracks as far as what most people know of David Bowie.

I'll stop short at saying the album is avant garde...but I can't thinking it is a slowed down, jazz version of Bowie's industrial period.

There is a great musical shift at the mid point of the title track, which clocks in at almost 10 minutes in length.

For how slow, moody and dark the album feels, it still does not come off as depressing.

It is very original, without being weird for weird sake.

The songs fit so beautifully together.

Where the previews we received of "Tis a Pity...", "Sue..." and "Lazarus" just pointed to a direction he was going, the album as a whole is so cohesive.

Sometimes when a band or an artist is around for awhile you look forward to new music and when it arrives you think, "Wow, good job mate, you made a good record".

This album seems so intentional, deliberate and you can tell Bowie was as focused as a painter creating a piece of art and not caring if he painted a masterpiece, but did so along the way.

It is going to be hard for anyone to top this for the album of 2016.

Bowie has done well.

And he did well when he got rid of his ex-wife Angie too, she's 66 but I saw a picture of her today (she's doing some celebrity crap show) and she looks about 96! And Iman looks fuckking hot as fuckk!

Here's Angie today:
