Principled Man
In 2006, the people at NASA calculated the time New Horizons would arrive at Pluto. The spacecraft was launched, and about ten years later, it arrived at Pluto. The difference between the estimated travel time and actual travel time was about A MINUTE. THIS is why learning mathematics is so important, boys and girls!! :ebert: :ebert: :ebert:

Principled Man
Pluto's largest moon, Charon (named after the Greek ferryman of Hades, who transported dead souls across the rivers Styx and Acheron): http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab88/unclemonteee/nh-charon_zpshid8gclf.jpg Relative to Pluto, Charon is HUGE! Its diameter (1208 km) is just over half that of Pluto's diameter (2370 km). Its mass/gravity is enough to create a barycenter (center of mass) outside of Pluto. The two bodies orbit each other every 6.4 days.
