Its not real old as I figured. :codger: 86' is a year before my daughter was born (my first) and I had already dropped music and games for working harder (more), playing golf and bowling in my free time. When she was born that added another time consuming activity to the already busy mix and took priority obviously over all the rest... :) Old really is relative. There are only a handful of franchises older than Zelda, and there are only a handful of games more popular and iconic than it as well. Have you heard of Mario or PacMan?Yes. He looked like Mario to me. I am no gaming expert by anyone's definition. Not my thing and only interested me for a brief period in the early 80's.
