As I do every few years, it's time to become re-obsessed by Chris's awesome solo album from '75, "Fish Out of Water." A big talent, a big loss.

Well technically Leukemia but apparently that's a type of cancer that starts in the bone marrow and affects the blood cells. Regardless, this is very sad news for me personally as a huge YES fan. I got into RUSH in a heavy way right around the same time I got into YES(mid eighties)so both bands are very special to me. Of course Chris is one of the all time greatest bass players. He will be sorely missed. Unfortunately it's difficult for me to listen to any YES now. RIP Chris.
