Digital Dad
Sad. Yes has been such a huge part of my life since I heard the song Owner of a Lonely Heart in 1984. I'm having a huge Yes tribute day.

GeddyRulz
As I do every few years, it's time to become re-obsessed by Chris's awesome solo album from '75, "Fish Out of Water." A big talent, a big loss.
Union 5-3992
f**k. RIP Chris Squire, one of my all time favorite bass players.
analog guy
It seems like only the other week that it was diagnosed. Cancer is cruel enough..... but it usually gives you some time. I'm really stunned by how quickly this happened.
New_World_Man
Well technically Leukemia but apparently that's a type of cancer that starts in the bone marrow and affects the blood cells. Regardless, this is very sad news for me personally as a huge YES fan. I got into RUSH in a heavy way right around the same time I got into YES(mid eighties)so both bands are very special to me. Of course Chris is one of the all time greatest bass players. He will be sorely missed. Unfortunately it's difficult for me to listen to any YES now. RIP Chris.
