Fun in the sun in a "muscle" car today.

As long as Ecoboost four cylinder counts as muscle

(It has more power than a 2010 V8, shut uuuuup!)

All kidding aside IMO muscle car? No.

The new Mustang with Ecoboost 4 and the hi-po handling/braking package are legit sports car. Which isn't bad at all.

This thing is selling me on Mustangs. The Ecoboost (~310hp, 320lb*ft) moves it along much better than "4 cylinder turbo mustang" would suggest. Nice new powerplant.

At this point the freakin' V8 is a $10,000 option over the base V6. I'll take the base V6, 6 speed manual please.

We just don't get that technical in this thread, we like curves and lines and a great shape.

Ford really wants the Ecoboost to be the "other" performance option. They won't equip the V6 with the hi-po handling/braking packages.

At least the mpg figures are accurate. Somehow no amount of leadfootedness drops avg mpg below 25.

The cheap n cheerful v6 is the one I'd take.
