The treeduck 12 that matter most:

1. Rob Halford

2. Steve Walsh

3. Ronnie James Dio

4. Ian Gillan

5. Freddie Mercury

6. Bruce Dickinson

7. Glenn Hughes

8. David Coverdale

9. Lou Gramm

10. Geoff Tate

11. Joe Lynn Turner

12. David Bowie

Great singers who didn't make the cut because they are a bit "reedy" or "raspy" or not quite powerful enough to make it:

Brad Delp

Robert Plant

Paul Stanley

Jon Anderson

Phil Mogg

Steven Tyler

Singers who are great in their respective bands but are a bit of an acquired taste for a lot of people, an acquired taste that I obviously acquired very very quickly and easily!!

Geddy Lee

Ozzy Osbourne

Phil Lynott

Ian Anderson

Good singers who shout a little too much:

Roger Daltry

Graham Bonnet

Special mention:

Russell Allen

Dunno if these are all hard rock but these are my favorites:

1. Brian Howe (Bad Company)

2. Steve Perry (Journey)

3. Roger Daltrey (The Who)

4. Sammy Hagar (Van Halen)

5. Brad Delp (Boston)

6. Ronnie James Dio

7. Geddy Lee (young version)

8. Paul Rodgers (Bad Company)

9. Ian Gillan

10.Robert Plant (Led Zep)

Howe is ridiculously underrated and still sounds good. Same can't be said about hmm... a lot of older guys. ;)

Perry is a great, great singer. He must be on top of these lists regardless if you like Journey or not.

Perry has def. sung some hard rock songs too... Winds of March for example.

I'm not a huge Journey fan (I like some of their stuff though) and I kinda dislike Raised on Radio... and Perry sang with lower tone in that album... nevertheless this vocal performance is nothing short of amazing.

Cristina Scabbia

Myles Kennedy

Lou Gramm

Joseph Williams

Steve Lukather

Joe and Steve would be in the too reedy category.

Isn't Myles Kennedy the violinist?

Chrissie is hot and I'd bang her but make her wear a gag so I couldn't hear whiny nasally sexual screeching! :16ton:
