Cyclonus X-1
Ah, yes, it's time for the NFC North Second Place Bowl. Well, you guys have fun battling it out for the red ribbon. This is the season that will see the Detroit Lions take the division and restore the roar... http://www.footballperspective.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Wayne-Fontes.jpg ...as long as they don't keep hurting themselves doing sack dances. :|

Lost In Xanadu
Anyone have any great rivalry stories? Doesn't have to be Packers / Bears.... Love this story...http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20110120/news/701209936/Few understand the Bears-Packers rivalry like John Cochara of Spring Grove. As a former bar manager for KC's Cabin in the town near the Wisconsin border, Cochara was duct-taped to a stop sign, above right, after the Packers beat the Bears 15 years ago. Personally, the one that always jumps out to me is Halloween 1994. I was in college, and my roommate was a Bears fan, from Aurora IL. We stopped at Sam's club and got a 5lb can of nacho cheese and tortilla chips. I had some super hot habanero sauce from a friend in Arizona. We dumped like 1/4 of it in the nacho cheese. Before the game, my friend and I made a bet... the other guy had to drink 2 beers for a TD, 1 beer for a FG.... he was wasted by halftime. He had 6 cans in the first half alone. I had none by penalty... but I leisurely drank one with my nachos. He had 10 in the span of the game, and with all the nacho cheese, was in the bathroom all night
Cyclonus X-1
Lol the Lions. Not a chance It's kind of unfortunate the way the schedule turned out. The Lions are going to end up ruining both Thanksgiving AND Christmas for Bears fans this year. Sorry about that, mate, but no one's going to stand in our way. http://www.hotchickshotpicks.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/page0_blog_entry290_1.jpg

Principled Man
I moved to Wisconsin in May 1984. One of the first Packer games I watched was the infamous Ken Stills - Matt Suhey game in 1985.... :o CRAZY......!!!

Principled Man
Bear LB Shea McClellin (hand) has been declared OUT for the game. Packer LB Clay Matthews (groin) practiced today, but he is still "questionable".

Cyclonus X-1
I've got the Bears in both competition threads. The Packers have been competing on borrowed time for a while now. Hopefully Chicago can bury them for good and turn this division into the two-team race that it should be. :madra:

Packers' O-Line is in good shape except for RT Bulaga, who is playing with a sprained knee (the one he blew out last year). The defense is is good shape except for Matthews, nickle-back Casey Heyward (hamstring), and ILB Brad Jones (who stinks anyway).
