Hi guys. I know some of you are wizards with photoshop and I was wondering if you could help me out. I've been trying to remove the drywall/wavy effect from the background in the image below with very limited success. If it isn't too difficult, I would very much appreciate it if you guys could help me out with this.

Thanks.

It's tough because that textured background creates edges that are not smooth, and therefore hard to work with. But I gave it my best stab.

In case his doesn't work ;) here's another:

I'll take that as a not so subtle way of telling me that the background is bad and I should feel bad. :P

If you're going to put it in your sig, be sure to shrink the hell out of it. ;)

I'm all too familiar with massive sigs. I promise that if I ever do change my sig it won't be much bigger than my current one. However, it's not going to be a sig. This thing is going to be a mouse pad. It's a low resolution printer so the ripples won't come out nicely. I think the resolution on the image you posted will do just fine based on an image of a mousepad I saw with only a slightly higher resolution.

That's great. Which service are you using to print that out? Are you selling or just making one?

I found this posted on Reddit. You can get 1 custom mouse pad for $1 using a coupon. There were tons of people posting in that thread over the course of 9 months about the pads they ordered.

http://www.artscow.com/photo-gifts/mousepad/large-mousepad-160

Use the coupon code: RushForumMousePad

This will make the total $1 (yes it even deducts shipping charges) after you enter it and press the checkout button

The way the site works with the coupon is interesting. Each coupon can only be used once per account and IP address (network). The coupons only exist as referral links. So while that coupon expires late October, the coupons for this promotion only exist as users' referral links. So by using the coupon, you get your $1 custom mouse pad, and I get a $1 credit on the site. I added this last part in for complete transparency. I wouldn't have posted the service if you didn't ask.

Is it better quality than than Café Press, though? A lot of their stuff is kind of flimsy, clothing and otherwise.

I don't know, but for $1 you can't go wrong. Here are some images which look decent enough.

It came in today. It turned out great. Thanks again 73. The image is a little blurry because the camera I used is not particularly good.
