goose
This event is amazing! Fowler sticks an impossible shot out of the rough to five feet...then Poulter pitches his lay-up over a bunker onto the green with a 50-ft run-out and into the cup. Jerk.

goose
Goose, did you watch afternoon matches yet??Watching now. Amazing. Simply amazing. The ability of these guys to pull off a miracle shot on demand...a dagger two feet from the pin...it's amazing. Here's the link for Ryder Cup 2016 Ticket info. I'm seriously considering it as a trip of a lifetime thing. http://ems.pgalinks.com/2016RyderCupReg.cfm
goose
Furyk...bunker to bunker. That's the other thing I love about this. Even the best can flub a shot.
RushCanuck
12 single points will be awarded Sunday, and the Ryder Cup winner will be determined. Remember Brookline and Medinah... it was the same score on Saturday night, perhaps history will repeat itself.
RushCanuck
Well, that was disappointing.... Congrats to the Euros... Patrick Reed and Jimmy Walker played well for USA - that was nice to see.Hey Zinger, can you be the captain again for 2016?

Those two shots from behind the bush - Keymer made the second - those captured perfectly the resolve of the Euros.
RushCanuck
Congrats to Canadian Nick Taylor who won the http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/flags/flag-of-canada.gifPGA Sanderson Farms Championship. He beat DeLaet and Hearn to the winners circle. http://www.pgatour.c...ampionship.html This tournament is part of the wrap around 2014-5 season. Some of the lesser known players show up. I didn't watch any of this tournament. But, a win is a win and it's great that there is another young Canuck golfer to prove we're more than just a nation of hockey players.

RushCanuck
I just popped in to say I am watching golf. Someone is bored out of his skull and I think its me.... Anything good happening? I'm giving golf a break, and haven't watched since the Ryder Cup. I'll be at it again next year. (still in love with it, just not a watcher of this wrap around golf)

RushCanuck
This week (Dec 4 - 7) is the Hero World Challenge. This is an unofficial event, and it's Tiger's fund raising event. There are 18 golfers competing... including Tiger. It will be interesting to see if he's recovered from his back surgery and what shape his game is in. I plan to watch some of the action when I'm not working.

I just got home... they are rerunning the coverage now, so I'll check some of it out... I wish I could jump into the tv and enjoy that beautiful weather!Wish you could too. Tiger looks great as I said. Much slimmer and I think it will bode well down the line. The chipping and putting was awful by anyone's standards. I think he will clean it up by weekends end and play some good golf. Just 4 healthy rounds under his belt should do wonders. We shall see. I would have posted more had I known you were checking it out. I will do better tomorrow....
